ALDI Ferrex Angle Grinder

faulty power switch configuration – Mid 2023 Aldi sold a ferrex angle grinder model S1M-DD16-125HD 1200 watts. I bought 3. All previous models I bought were good, yet when I started using 1 of the mid 2023 grinders, the grinder worked as intended, on releasing to power switch turning off the grinder, restarting the grinder by pressing the power switch, nothing happened. Not wanting to go through the process of warranty, I removed the handle switch cover to see the grinder was missing vital components used to stop high voltage sparks across switches (generated by 1200 watt motor's inductive resistance) when switches are turned off. A 240 AC capacitor usually across the motor 240 ac volt into the motor wasn't present nor were there any suppression coils to aid reducing high voltage sparking across switches. The switch on the grinder which failed to turn on for the second time a high voltage spark melted the small switch's plastic around the contact metal point, melted plastic covered the switch metal used to pass electricity. this maybe why the grinder is marked "discontinued".
