So many empty shells in my package as well. Seems to be a pattern here with other customers purchases. Very disappointing, fortunately there are other options on the market. Show details

Very disappointed with these nuts and that Aldi still sells them when others have had the same experience over a long period of time. Far too many empty shells and not much flavour. Bad quality control. Not such good value when at least 20% of the bag is inedible. Show details

I’m very disappointed with the quality of this 1kg pistachio pack from Aldi. Around 300 grams of the bag was made up of empty shells with no pistachio inside. This is very poor value for money and not what I expect from a product like this. I won’t be buying it again unless the quality improves. Show details

1/4 of my most recent pack was empty shells and it’s not like all the loose kernels were in the bottom either! I think they are tasty but the saltiness is super inconsistent. Sometimes the bottom of the pack in swimming in salt and it’s too much, and other times it’s bland with hardly any salt at all. Photos are the empty shells I start pulling… Read more

out only after about a quarter of the pack had been eaten so not even representative of all the empty shells.

Over roasted, most of them taste burnt. So many empty shells. 14$ for 600g is a total scam Show details

I agree with Shelly in last review....i bought at same time i opened today after acouple months ...found the same empty shells and half kernals in most....$22 per bag good price for 1kg but not quality like I've had before with the packs near the coffee..the smaller bags are normally great. Guess they bag 1kg bags to get rid of the 2nds as they new it wasn't standard...to their normal. Show details

Empty shells – Reasonable price compared to others, I know why because for every 35 you eat 10 at least are just empty shells. Show details

Left empty – The pistachios were nice, it's just that a third of the bag was empty shells- no nut inside. Very disappointing. Show details

Perfect pistachios – Personally, I liked the salty flavour. I've tried others and they're pretty tasteless. This was my favourite by far. My daughter liked them too. Hopefully, they'll keep them in stock Show details

Imported and terrible compared to Woolworths – My wife received a one kilogram pack of these imported pistachios from a work colleague. They were poor quality, and probably imported from Iran. There were quite a few shells with no pistachio 'meat'. Nor were the pistachios particularly fresh, and the salting and roasting wasn't pleasant tasting. There is no comparison to the usually… Read more

excellent Murray River, Victoria/NSW produced pistachios sold by Woolworths. Most times, these are fresh and the amount of salt is just right, giving a pleasing taste.

This gave me another reason to avoid shopping at Aldi.
