ALDI Kitchen Trolley

Looks nice but a headache to put together. Make sure you identify what leg is what before putting together and put them on the right order. The labels are on the top of the legs, not the side. The holes for the side supports did not line up. Surface scratches easily as you put it together the wheels weren’t screwed on properly - but that was an easy fix.
Purchased in at ALDI for $120.
A waste of money in a cost of living crisis – Just purchased today, July 2024. The offset predrilled holes in one of the legs (number nine) have been drilled on the wrong side. So no chance of using either shelf or brace supports. Aldi= not so good definitely different

I was lucky - my trolley is great quality – I love my Aldi trolley - it's sturdy and on wheels (with brakes). I purchased it a few years ago and I was lucky - the quality of mine is exceptional. My friend purchased the same last week (July 2021), but her's is different. The braces are thin wire, they are too big and do not fit at the sides. The instructions showed the tea-towel rails on the top bench board instead of on the legs at the sides (she split the wood). Aldi need to be consistant with the quality as my friend is disappointed that her trolley is not like mine. I'm so grateful for mine. I've added photo of Brochure that came with my trolley:

Deceived – The photos of the product make you think it's solid pine but it's more like balsa wood. The bench isn't the thinkness that it looks like. When you look underneath it's half the thickness so you wouldn't want to chop much on it or have too much weight on it. The metal shelves are well made and the other metal work. It looks good and so I just use it to put my microwave and rice cooker on. It's not that cheap considering the wood is rubbish. What annoyed me the most is it's made in china but they give it a German name to fool you. Not impressed....
Purchased in at ALDI for $149.73.
Another Aldi Disaster – The photo of the Trolley on the assembly instructions document is misleading to say the least. Even after applying several coats of furniture oil the timber components appear second rate with many defects and imperfections. The draw fronts do not match each other in colour or grain. The assembly instructions are both difficult to interpret and just plain wrong.
