I would like to know how long is the aging process of your Aldi Vintage Cheese made by Westacres, I hear that it is 9 months, or is it aged for a longer period?.

Westacre vintage cheese goes mouldy very quickly, is almost tasteless. I am glad i am not the only one who says this. Also does come from dairy herds that use Bovaer?

I agree with all these terrible reviews. I used to love their vintage cheese, now I'm not even sure it is cheese anymore, virtually no taste at all.

Agree. It doesn't even smell like cheese anymore and it has a horrible texture.

I have just returned the fourth packet of Westacre cheese to ALDI. I can't afford this to happen, but each packet goes mouldy within a couple of weeks. It needs to be vacuum sealed for a start. ALDI stop getting this cheese. The price has gone up considerably but the quality has gone way down.

I would agree, Westacre tast, and vintage cheeses have been tasteless compared to Mainland or even Bega brands form other supermarkets. And now according to many reviews, Westacre cheeses are going mouldy well before best before date.

I don't mind the taste, but to have it go mouldy BEFORE I've even opened the packet a week+ old is just plain poisonous. Wonder what the Health Department would make of it. THe price has risen steadily but the quality NOT.

Dear Aldi is Westacre cheese changed its taste as I see so many BAD reviews about this on this site and have Aldi approached them about it.
