AngelSounds Fetal Doppler

Poor quality, badly designed, doesn't work – I was never able to find a heartbeat, and then it broke and stopped working altogether two weeks after purchase. I have since returned this and will be investing a bit more money on a higher quality one. Part of the problem with this one I think is the design. Everything, including the probe, and all the electronics of the machine are contained in one small unit. What I noticed is the gel would get into into the machine because there are lots of little crevices/openings near the probe where the gel can easily get in, possibly disturbing the electrics and the functioning of the doppler. Pretty sure that's why mine broke. The other dopplers that have the probe as a separate stick are far better designed because the gel doesn't go anywhere near the electronics of the machine itself.
Not bad - don’t like the app – Very happy with the doppler it’s self but my app freezes and takes up to 3 minutes to click onto babies heart beat. However for $50 I can’t complain too much but I’d say this is very basic and before 13-14 weeks you may struggle finding a strong heart beat.
Excellent Product - important to check if seller is TGA approved first – All fetal dopplers are classified as a medical device by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), therefore all sellers of fetal dopplers must be registered and approved with the TGA before they can 'legally' sell them to Australian consumers. If the seller does not display an ARTG Number in their advertisement, they may well have not gone through this assessment/approval process. Consumers are at risk of purchasing any medical device which does not have TGA approval. So for your own safety, please do your homework and buy from a retailer/seller with these important safety approvals from the Australian Government Health Department.
Overall, a top product for any expectant mum, especially if you're someone who likes reassurance and peace of mind, like myself. I found it very easy to use and found my baby's heartbeat straight away when I was 14 weeks pregnant. My 2 year old also enjoyed listening to the beats, so was a pleasant experience for the whole family! Very popular item, provides reassurance, easy to use Too easy to buy from unapproved sellers without TGA approval
angelsounds fetal doppler absolutely great investment – This is our first pregnancy and we are high risk due to a condition I have. Doctors have been monitoring me closely and recommendations were made about me getting a doppler to use at home. I purchased the angelsounds fetal doppler for $50 and it's been the best money we've spent. You can clearly locate the heartbeat (I am currently 16 weeks and of a slender build) and we were able to record the heartbeat on our android phone and send it to our family.
If you are anxious or need reassuring that babies heartbeat is strong I would highly recommend this product :-) affordable, easy to use and audio can be tricky first few times when ugetting used to using it
