One of the last Click wheel Nano's – It's a genuine Ipod and really it shows that it has quality. It also has a long lasting battery. But what i find probably the best is that it still fits with the word "Ipod". What is an Ipod these days? everything has gone touch so really this is one of the last generations of Nano that is still around. I definitely advise you to go pick one up… Read more

before it's too late. Great little device that will store all your music and videos + more. This is the last chance to show what a click wheel Ipod Nano is. It's absolutely worth the value :) Cheap, last of the click wheel's, doesn't need to be showed of. the colour range tad small screen

Good – I understand why ipod's have such a monopoly - they are like a nokia, you can get stuff for them anywhere, even the supermarket. I have a ipod clone which is close but no cigar, not as easy to navigate and the buttons are more temprimental. Get an extended warranty (if possible) mine had issues but Apple were very good about the claim. My click… Read more

wheel also packed it in after 3 years though.

If you can afford it, buy an i-phone. I also found 8gb too small, 16 would have covered it. Size, unit's ease of use, availability of aftermarket accessories and spares. i-tunes. The interaction with the internet and some features of itunes are great, but I don't like how it converts MP3's to MP4. I-tunes is also a bit stupid as if you change computers you have to tell it where to look for the music rather than it finding it (then it also has to convert it to MP4. Solution is external hard drive.

Excellent – I use my iPod nano for running with an arm band. I love using it as it is so light weight and it's also really easy to use when strapped on. I can change songs and volume very easily and don't need to take the ipod off my arm. I use it with the iPod sports kit when running and this allows me to track my distance, time, calories and pace which… Read more

OK – I like it it has simple features. Excellet quality and good video and game playback. Super slim easy for my fitness routine Small Slim very stylish colourful and excellent for running or jogging as it is so slim. But nowadays apple have brought out a 5th generation one with camera etc. It runs out of power quite quick and it is a hassle to keep charging it all the time.

Excellent – Great gift idea for anyone. My 12 year old son loves it. Very compact and easily fits into your pocket. Would recommend it to anyone Colours are gorgeous. Nice small little unit that does all that you need in an ipod. Much nicer than the new little ones that are out now. Has video camera in it which is alot of fun

Excellent – I have used this ipod for 2 years and it is a great music player. Earphones should probably be replaced as the origninal ones are lacking in bass. It is very slim and looks nice and it fits in your pocket easily without bulging out. It also doesn't scratch very easily and this is an advantage over the previous generation which scratched very… Read more

easily on its chrome back. The nano can also view movies, though screen is a little small for that Sleek, slim, doesn't scratch easily and comes in very nice colours Dust can get stuck under screen and a little extra money can get you an ipod far more superior; the ipod touch

Good – Very happy with this product. Would love to one day upgrade to the 5th Gen Nano or the Touch, but for now, love the Nano 4th Gen! Love love love it!! First ever iPod I got, and I was not disappointed. Great to just turn on, slip in your pocket or bag and off you go. I love walking with it or playing Solitaire on it with the music on shuffle. You… Read more

can put CD's on it. I haven't bought any music off iTunes. The iTunes compatible with the iPod Nano 4th Gen is incompatible with Windows 2000, which is what I have. However, I have overcome this by using my parents computer, which has Windows XP. I hope to be updating my computer soon and therefore be able to put my own CD's on it at home.

OK – I was disappointed with original earphone failure. If I sit very still it works just fine. I love to sit and sew with it! Cute colour (electric blue!) Easy to use in both sound and video. Slim-line. I returned my first one to the store because the sound was breaking up. The second one did the same, so I changed the earphones and the… Read more

connection is better. I was unable to use in-flight because with the volume up over aircraft noise it could be heard by other passengers!

OK – I was bought the nano for my birthday recently. I do love it I love the fact that you can transfer your other music files on to the iPod and don’t have to buy all your music from the I tunes store. I did find it quite hard to use at first and quite confusing I also found that when my computer crashed and everything got wiped I re installed I tunes… Read more

on to my computer and I attached my iPod and it informed me that your only allowed to sync with one I tunes programme so all my music was wiped off my iPod so not happy about that but it’s ok I personally think there’s to much hype surrounding apple. great to be able to take music on the go Can be difficult to use

Good – Despite not being as good as the chrome ipod, the 4th gen never lags a and even though its contrary to what other people say, when it comes to just listening to music, the battery life is amazing. the games are too expensive on itunes, but some of them are worth it. i have the 4th gen apple ipod and even though it doesn't have the video feature… Read more

like the 5th gens do it is still amazing. the good thing about it is that i only have to charge it for 3 hours and the battery lasts for more than 16 hrs as long as the backlight settings are turned off there is no video feature in the 4th gen and there is no fm/am in it either which is highly disappointing since i got my 4th gen a month before the new one came out. i think apple rips people off when it comes to that aspect since they just randomly launched a new ipod without warning.

Excellent – I love everything about this Ipod, the battery life doesn't bother me as I prolong its energy usage and I only use it on occasions and not full time. Even though I have way over 2000 on my cds, I only choose the songs I really like to put on my Ipod. It has soo many features in one small ipod, its great! I have the 5th Generation Ipod Nano and… Read more

I love the slim lightweight design which is great as it doesn't look like you have anything in your pocket, the choice of colours, up to 2000 songs, radio, shuffle, video, games and sound quality etc. I could go on but there's so many features! Battery life and even though it has a built in video, it wold be nice to take still photos!!

Good – Love this version of the nano. Same as the previous version in ease of use, Can hold a lot of songs. Has a shuffle feature. I can't seem to get the shake-to-move-to-the-next-song feature to work very easily. I do hate that with Apple products you are limited to apple software, etc. The games pre-loaded are great and it they use the motion… Read more

Excellent – I won this ipod at work and have had so much fun with it. I can put all my music on here and listen to it on the train to and from work. The 8gb model holds 2000 songs, far more songs than i know which is great! I love that it is slim and easy to use and organise music. This one i have also allows you to play videos and has a little camera on it… Read more

that lets you take videos as well. The 8gb holds approx 2000 songs which is plenty! The earphones are a little cheap.

Excellent – I got my Nano for christmas and plugged the system into my pc to find that I needed Itunes and that I need to waste my internet usage to get the program. Once over this problem, I realised the premium of price between the ipod and similar machines. Apart from being an accessory, the system is far superior to many cheaper alternatives and the… Read more

bright clear screen was amazing. The slender design makes it great to exercise and walk with and I couldn't go back to anything other than my Ipod. great design and sound, having to download and use itunes, 5th generation is cheaper and has more features, battery can go flat very quickly.

Excellent – I got one of these little beauties given to me for mothers day last year as i spend a lot of time in my car going to and from work. What a gem it has been saving me from the annoying ads on the radio and boring talkback bull. I have found it easy to load even though i own a Microsoft pc i got around that thanks to firefox. Purchasing songs from… Read more

the apple store has been a hassel free experience, the songs load quickly and the sound is pretty damn good for a little item.

I would and have reccomend this item to anyone of all ages, especially those that have to spend time travelling, working alone and exercising. LOVE IT AAA+++ The colour, the ease of use, the shake it to the next song, colour screen the ear buds ( headphones ) that come with it.

Excellent – I love these iPods, the colours are so vibrant and the sound quality is great. You can shake to change the song which is useful. You can just slip it into your pocket and listen to music because it's so light. It should be able to play the radio though, because sometimes you just prefer listening to the radio. iTunes makes it easy to download… Read more

songs and things, but I don't really like it! The brand new colours - I love the pink! Feels sleeker and smoother and very light to carry around. Nothing, it's much better than the previous iPod.

Good – Great little music player, perfect for on the bus or train. I do wonder how the ipod would fare if there were more competitors in the market, but for now, I will stay with ipod as it provides just what I need, with the exception of itunes - I just don't like it that much Love the colour, screen is really nice, it's a nice size and very… Read more

light-weight. No FM Radio ability. The shake to shuffle function can sometimes annoy if accidently drop it and the song changes. Not fond of itunes. The earbuds are too big for my ears, and fall out all the time (if they fit your ears then I'm sure they would have good sound quality.

Excellent – I bought the green 16gb and this Nano is my fisrt MP3. Initially it took me a while to get the hang of all of the functions and iTunes, but all you need to do is play around with it. Crystal clear sound and it has more than enough storage for music. I currently have 420 songs on it and still have 13.6GB left! However I dont use it for photos etc.… Read more

A great buy and if you buy direct from Apple, they offer free engraving. Sturdy construction, great sound, very lightweight, brilliant colours, heaps of storage capacity Cant think of any

Excellent – It is the best music player on the market. It is extremely easy to use with very accurate sound, and very portable with quite a bit of memory. And compared to the very first computers we had on earth, they only had 1 Megabyte of memory where as the iPod has 8000 Megabytes. It has a great setup with all its nifty programs and the games you can get are set up really well. It's battery life has improved, but it's still not enough for me.

(i have the green one). shake to shuffle, games, photos. one teeny tiny touch on the wheel and the volume turns up full blast, not good if your on the train and the volume all of a sudden jumps up a few notches.

Good – Its been a good little player so far. The new screen is really great. What I really think is pathetic, is you have to go to sooooo much trouble to download your own DVD's to the ipod, it requires software thats not always cheap or easy to find. That might be considered illegal, but I'm not paying for a movie that I already own, I should be able… Read more

to watch it wherever I bloody please. Also itunes is a shocking music software program and provider. I've been using MusicMatch Jukebox for years and its a much better program, and of course Jukebox doesn't support the ipod. Very cute, I got the pink one, cause I couldn't help it. Very thin, much larger screen than before. Has a lot more options that my last ipod which I think was 2nd gen nano.. It froze the first day,I had it, but after jumping onto some info websites, I managed to fix the problem myself. Screen shows fingerprints, but tell me what small hand held electronic device doesn't.

Bad – I bought my nano 4g direct from Apple and ended up with a faulty one. The sound is severely distorted and after trying 3 different pairs of headphones I am confident that it is the nano not the headphones that are the problem. I am sending mine back to Apple for a replacement. * Great design, very sleek. * Bright LCD display and adjustable… Read more

font sizes.

* Very easy to use. * Have to return iPod to Apple by post for a replacement. Can take up to 2 weeks to receive replacement.

* Replacement iPod may be refurbished rather than new at the discretion of Apple.

* Apple do not transfer data from old iPod to replacement so will have to upload all music again from scratch once replacement is received.
