Appleton Estate Reserve 8 Year Old

A great Rum – Haven't had this in a while, but it is a very good rum. It's smooth to the taste and has a nice flavour. I would buy again if it wasn't so expensive.

Very nice drop – I wanted some variance to my usual Bundaberg overproof, so opted to go with the rum that originates from one of the oldest sugar cane fields in Jamaica. I was loyal to Coruba, but I've tired of the sweet, sugary, candy flavour. This one, gives you the floral, rich flavour you expect from a Jamaican rum, together with the pleasant dryness that comes from Bundy overproof. I have this with tea and its something I look forward to every evening. Very nice product. Will try 12 year old next. True Jamaica rum, nice and dry. 43%.....goes the distance. Even at Dan Murphy's this is an expensive one!
