poured a shot glass to try it out. The aroma is sweet and rich. The taste is at first sweet vanilla and molasses.. and it finishes with semi-sweet chocolate, clove and cinnamon flavors. Rich flavor and excellent. Be careful though.. the flavor hides the fact that it's 95 proof. Good rich tasting rum! relatively inexpensive. Watch out. The flavor masks the alcohol content.
Best Drink for any Evening – Delicious spicy and amazing aroma. Drink it as a cocktail or on the rocks. Also comes in a 1 Litre option at Dan Murphy so makes it economical. Never really understood Rums until I had this one and also Captain Morgan Black.

has a nice smooth mellow taste equal to if not slightly better to most main stream bourbons in the same price bracket. Well worth a try if you float between Rums and Bourbons.
