Dear Management Team, I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment following my consultation today with [Name Removed]. I have attended your centre for many years and, despite not having a regular GP, I have always felt comfortable and well cared for by the various doctors I have seen. I have consistently spoken highly of your clinic, which makes today’s experience particularly upsetting and difficult to understand.

From the moment I was called in, I felt unwelcome. [Name Removed]’s manner was noticeably cold, and as I explained my concerns and requests, I felt dismissed rather than supported. While I initially gave the benefit of the doubt, assuming it may have been a busy day, the interaction became increasingly uncomfortable. When I sought further assistance, I was repeatedly questioned about having a regular doctor, which left me with the clear impression that my presence was not wanted.

Her tone felt abrupt and lacking empathy. Instead of feeling cared for, I felt like an inconvenience.

Patients come to your centre at vulnerable moments—often anxious, unwell, and in need of reassurance. We wait patiently, trusting that when our turn comes, we will be met with professionalism, respect, and compassion. Unfortunately, this was not my experience today.

I left the clinic feeling visibly shaken, embarrassed, and deeply rejected. It is difficult to put into words how disheartening it is to seek help and walk away feeling dismissed by the very person you turned to for care.

I am not writing this lightly. I am writing because this experience does not reflect the standard of care I have come to expect from your centre. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that reflection occurs, as no patient should leave a consultation feeling unsupported in this way.

Very professional – Many thanks to Dr. Xu for taking care of our family. She is a very punctual and responsible doctor. During each consultation, she carefully inquires about our recent conditions, addresses issues from all aspects, and provides effective health advice. Both of my children and my husband have also received excellent care. I hope we have more such responsible doctors. Also, receptionists are very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work!

Great experience – I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Kaye Xu for her exceptional care and dedication in helping my mother. Dr. Xu not only addressed my mother’s health issues but also promptly referred her to a professor at Westmead Hospital, ensuring her surgery was completed on time. Her commitment didn’t end there; she continued to follow up weekly for over 10 weeks after the surgery, attentively monitoring my mother’s physical and mental well-being. Dr. Xu also shared valuable insights on navigating specialist appointments, helping us achieve the best outcomes from each visit. Thank you, Dr. Kaye, for restoring my mother’s health and bringing happiness back to our family.

Long wait – This is not a impulsive review. I have been going to this clinic for around 15-16 months. Every time i had to wait for one hour minimum. When asked why the delay, they always have the same reply of "emergency". I think if emergency is so regular they have to have permanent solution rather than making patients wait. Today, before my appointment time i called clinic and asked if there is any emergency or long queue but they asked me to come on time. I went there, sat for one hour before i realized I have to wait for another one hour to see doctor. As this was follow-up consultation about my blood report. I asked them to email my blood report but they declined saying "Policy". "Policy" is the generic answer when you have no answer for your incompetence. Anyways, no matter how good doctors are, management is the worst and I recommend people to find better clinics where patients are treated respectfully. I am totally disappointed and would never step into this one.
