Arlec 150W Portable Halogen Worklight HL108

Inexpensive but OK – Other reviewers have canned this product, but I have used two in both trade and domestic use and found them satisfactory. The only problems I have had was filament breakage after dropping or accidental kicking, and I would not expect lamp to have survived. In no way disputing the experience of others, I just say mine has been different. As to the vendor, I have always found Bunnings very responsive to consumer complaints, and if you do buy one of these lamps and the globe fails prematurely, take it back and complain/explain. You may find any replacement lamps last better then the OEM ones. The fabrication of the luminaire itself is sound enough for something in its price range.

Dont buy – Light gets ridiculously hot super fast. So hot that the bulb melted. keeps going through bulbs every 15mins and dosent come with any spares. Dont waste your money on it

Don't bother – Get what you pay for - $15 from Bunnings. 1st light globe breaks after about a week 2nd globe is dull out of the box Replacement globe breaks after about 2 days Will be looking for something else
