cap for around $4000! Whilst some people say it helps, I did not get a chance to continue this program because within 5 months the wire attached to the chunky adapter wore out and snapped. Meanwhile, I was left with a working laser cap but no attachment despite seeking help from Ashley & Martin a few times to purchase an adapter from the US or anywhere. It was difficult to find one even on ebay. Because of this cheaply made wire adapter, the laser cap ended up in storage unused up to today. So be aware of buying the laser cap kit.

He pointed to the illustration where the woman was bald and said if I didn’t purchase their $3000 treatment plan, I would end up like her. For your information, 3 years and some home remedies later, I have a head full of hair and NO Androgenetic Alopecia. This company feeds off of vulnerable people and their insecurities for profit. the potential side effects, and the agreement was not properly explained to me before I was asked to sign.

After beginning the treatment, I experienced side effects that I believe should have been clearly disclosed before any commitment was made. When I raised my concerns, the focus shifted from resolving the issue to trying to get me to sign a Deed of Release that would have limited my rights. I declined to sign because I did not believe it was appropriate under the circumstances.

For transparency, this is an excerpt from their communication that I believe shows the pressure I experienced:

“As previously communicated and in alignment with our without prejudice offer, we will proceed with a full refund of $1,200 upon the execution of a Deed of Release.”

Only after I indicated I would escalate the matter through formal complaint channels did I receive a full refund. While the refund addressed part of the financial issue, it did not resolve my broader concerns about informed consent, disclosure of risks, or the pressure placed on me during the dispute.

I later became aware that Ashley & Martin has previously been the subject of regulatory action regarding unfair contract terms, as documented by the ACCC:https://www.accc.gov.au/media-release/court-orders-ashley-martin-to-refund-consumers-over-unfair-contract-terms

I am sharing this as my genuine personal experience so others take the time to carefully review documents, ask detailed questions about risks, and understand their rights before signing anything — especially when prescription medication is involved.

Great results in a short space of time. After the first consultation I was told to be patient and stick to the programme, it could take up to 12 months to get the desired results. After 3 months I could feel a difference and so could my hair dresser and after 6 months I looked like a different person. After a second consultation with my point of contact at A & M, I was assured the medication could be altered to minimise side effects experienced from one of the ingredients. Eventually, this was sent to me.

Unfortunately, after I spent quite a sum of money on this treatment and consultation, I have had little change to my situation and feel incredibly disappointed and met down. I wish I left my money in the bank.

Excellent results yet again....now going into the 5th year and very happy with everything. The team at Joondalup are incredible....they are caring, compassionate and supportive and I highly recommend them.
