I purchased an Asko washing machine three weeks ago and the door latch has already failed, -the door will not close, making the machine completely unusable. For a premium Scandinavian brand at this price point, a core mechanical component failing within three weeks of purchase is unacceptable. This is not a wear issue, it is a factory defect. A quick search confirms door latch failure is a known recurring issue across the Asko range, which raises serious questions about quality control.

I am currently seeking warranty resolution and will update this review based on how promptly and effectively Asko responds. At this stage I cannot recommend this brand to others considering a significant appliance investment.
