Never buy from them. They make no effort in ensuring you get your parcel, and say that is your responsibility.

rating is because there is absolutely NO customer service communication. They have a 30 day return policy. I tried numerous times to reach service and with days running out I went ahead and returned item. Beware, if something doesn't fit and you need to return/exchange this will cost you $$$.

Beautiful Wool Beautiful Jumpers – Beautiful garmets. Beautiful wool. I have many items of this brand mainly jumpers. They wash and wear with no problem. situation, sending the receipt, requesting some good faith rather than wasting $100, I was told I could cross town to their ‘Surplus’ store. Sure thing, Caroline, so easy! No offer of organising postage, or heading to Manly where I probably would have purchased more items again. Confusing service, poor support – Nice clothes but returning to the company is not worth the trouble. They advertise as an NZ site, but you have to return to Aus, at your own cost. This is not made clear on purchasing. Paid $70 to send all items back, so nothing in hand for that cost. Never do that again. And I’m telling friends too because I think selling as “NZ” is deceitful. faded. The result is an extremely ill fitting and tattered piece of clothing that will be relegated to sleepware draw. The pricing of the clothing is absurd considering the quality, I wouldn't pay any more than $5 let alone $50 for one of their t shirts.

Poor service for online orders – A blame the customer culture. Hard to get a comprehensive reply to questions about orders, exchanges and refunds. Information re sizing online is inconsistent and resulted in wrong size being ordered. Still hasn’t been updated. Will never buy again. Show details

Australia Post, they refer me back to Assembly Label, but too many days have passed to get away with another empty apology. Either refund my money or arrange for me to receive what I paid for. Forget any understanding from Assembly Label that it was Christmas presents that failed to arrive.

Lost shape after 1 wear – Purchased tracksuit (jumper and pants) the pants stretched and lost ALL/ANY shape after one wear!!! The material feels very thin and cheap and also had little balls on it after one wear! Terrible quality. Show details

New gray fleece colour run so bad – Bought via ICONIC. loved the look of it and washed it. Threw all the labels away. Took out of wash, delicate wash mind you, and the colour run was terrible. I want my money back!  Show details

Company website only publishes 5 star reviews, real quality is not good – I bought the Kai rib t-shirt and it shrank significantly on the first wash (cold hand wash). It fitted beautifully when I first tried it on, but after washing it, it is now so small it doesn't fit me at all and I cannot wear it. bought the t-shirt online, the company sent me an email inviting me to submit a review, which I did, however they did not publish the review as it was critical. I went to the website and submitted the review again, and again they did not publish it! If you look at the reviews for this shirt on the Assembly Label website, you will see they are all 5 star, or maybe with one 4 star review. Instead of improving the quality of their overpriced product, they artificially make it look as though they have only happy customers. Very dishonest.

Apparently anything above size 12 isn’t ‘normal’ – Popped into Byron Bay this morning with a friend and we took on some retail therapy in Jonson St. Found a dress I liked at Assembly Label and asked if they had it in a 14, adding “I see you don’t have anything above a 12 on the racks.” Sales assistant fetches dress and “We don’t have a lot of hanging space (crap) so we only put the regular sizes out.” Ouch.. how very Lorna Jane of you! Quality is really bad – I bought a cotton shirt and the colour faded an unbelievable amount literally after one wash (on the Quick wash setting using cold water). Now the shirt looks really ugly. Also the cotton really isn't very soft, even when I received it brand new. It just feels rough and cheap. Very disappointing for a $50 shirt. Show details

Not worth the prices – Singlet purchased on The Iconic so can't speak to customer service. However, for the price, the quality of the garment is very bad. The linen material is nice but the construction has foundational but basic problems. The singlet has been cut carelessly so the sides do not sit straight. experiencing large delays. It didn't say this anywhere on their website when I ordered. if I had have known it would take this long I most definitely wouldn't have ordered.

Anyway, today is Dec 31 and it's still not here. AU Post marked it as delivered with a signature yesterday despite the fact I was home all day and nothing arrived. When I contacted Assembly Label they suggested I contact AU Post to check. Feel pretty sure I'm just not going to get these bloody shorts! I like their clothes but this has been really disappointing and will definitely be the last time I order from them.

T shirt fallen to shreds – Purchased a t shirt from Assembly label recently having enjoyed their products in the past. The quality of the t shirt is of the worst I've come across. Customer service was rude and unhelpful, also took so long to reply and had to contact them 3 different ways. There are so many different places to buy online and in store, I don't know how this company is still around when there are companies that offer great quality items and customer service as well. Learn from my mistake and don't buy from here!

What makes purchasing from Assembly Label even worst is they give the impression of fast and easy returns but whenever I have had to return an item that being most - due to the quality - I have sent back the item and not heard back or received a refund for weeks (even though Aus post tells me A.L received it after 2 days of sending it) the only time I get my refund is after I have had to email A.L asking what has happened to it. I am honestly not exagerating this has happened all 5 times I have returned an item giving A.L the benefit of the doubt.

I will never purchase from Assembly Label again and warn others..

There denim is getting worse quality – I brought a pair of their jeans a year ago and was really happy with the quality, now I have just brought another pair and have noticed a difference in quality, the buttons are a worse metal, the denim is not as pure or thick, overall just feels cheaper, although the price point is the same. I think the jeans I just bought are cute but don’t think I’ll buy from them again.

Lucky to get 1 star! – It’s hit or miss with the clothing, linen pants fell apart at the seems after one wear. Customer service is atrocious!!!!! How they run a business is beyond me. I have never had a good experience at ANY of their shops!! For gods sake fix it!!!

When I contacted customer services Assembly Label offered me $20 store credit, which doesn't even cover the original $30 shipping to the UK, $27 customs charges or $22 cost of returning the item to them.

Such a shame as the quality (and service) used to be so much better, and at a reasonable price. Avoid.
