Ryset Fruit Protection Bags

I have an organic veggie garden & last year my entire crop was decimated by fruit fly. This season, I purchased the fruit protection mesh bags from Aussie Gardener on-line & couldn't be happier. I grew truss tomatoes & bagged each truss just before they started to ripen. I have had a massive crop with NO insect or rat damage at all. These really work!
Follow-up · Now, towards the end of the crop I have found these bags to be very good for ripening, a bit fiddly to apply (but worth the effort) & a few of them have small holes chewed by rats. Overall I had a massive crop with very minor losses & I will definitely reuse these bags each season. Large juicy tomatoes are preferred by fruit fly so I am now only growing cherry truss tomatoes & there is no need to bag them before they start to change colour.
