Poor Customer Service – I was a long time customer with Australian Home Brewing. I placed an order for $130 which was delivered by Aramex their Sydney courier contractor. $130 is a lot of money for a retired person. Aramex said they put it in a safe place but they did not. were safe places (two large wooden boxes) that they chose not to use. I complained to Australian Home Brewing by phone and email and suggested they make reparations. They only wanted to discuss the fact that their courier left it in the open for a postal pirate to steal. Complete lack of customer support. I am taking my business to https://www.szzhomebrew.com.au/ which ships faster and is less expensive.

Good quality product and service – Purchased the sterilization powder and was very pleased with the product and the results. So easy to use. I use this to sterilize almost everything. Service was excellent.

Good range and helpful enthusiastic staff – Their Furphy beer kit makes a really nice brew. This is the first time I have made beer and Hamish at the shop was very helpful showing me how to achieve a good result. They also have instructional videos on their website. Show details

emailed asking for an update on the whereabouts of my item multiple times I was shrugged off, a month later (after purchasing another of the same product elsewhere) my order arrived and I have contacted them asking to return it for a refund with still no response another week later. Save yourself the frustration and money and go to another company. There is no logical reason it should take a month for an order to arrive from VIC to Adelaide, I have had orders arrive from the UK faster than these guys can even pack one. 100% would not recommend or deal with again.

Slow boat from China – Made an order, paid and 3 weeks later it's still in Victoria. Enquired and was fed B.S . Use another business as I doubt I'll ever receive my item. Never again , pathetic service.

Deceitful conduct – This company is not only slow to prepare orders and ship them, but they will straight up lie to you about it when you ask. so I requested a refund. I heard back (finally) on Friday to say, it was actually packed Friday, and would be leaving that day. They offered an extra item to smooth the waters, but it turned out they had run out of one of my items before they could even be bothered packing my order, despite having already taken full payment for the product.

In this day and age, online retail can't get away with not packing and freighting orders within 24-48 hours - the pandemic is no longer an excuse in a post-restrictions world. I would have expected the order to arrive before the time they had even begun to pack it, and if they were out of stock of one item, I'd expect the courtesy of them putting aside the rest of my order, and contacting me to ask how to proceed. 5 days with only a lie about the true status of my order is not only deceitful, but screams of an online business trying to hide their bad processes, stock supply issues, and - given my refund cannot happen til next week - cashflow issues behind the facade of "good customer service".

Beware - don't deal with this store online. Take your money elsewhere and actually get your products, and get them sooner.

No care for their customers – Bought a Home Still package from these guys and still has not been delivered. Have reached out for some assistance from them to the courier company they engaged to deliver my package and they still have not responded, and my last few messages and emails appear to have been ignored. Have offered ways they can reach a resolution with me which have still not happened. Warning - do not deal with them.
