about the balance being on its way twice, then a few months later I called again to ask where the balance of my order was and they tried to charge me another delivery fee again! The audacity is real. The customer service team are hopeless rude and arrogant. When I complained to the “executive customer service excellence” rep she too narrowed it down by justifying their actions and just trying to help line! No wonder the team are the way they are! Do not waste your money here go to a reputable business and save yourself a lot of pain.

again, unsigned for. After many emails and calls with the company, stating they had ensured the delivery would be rectified, and I would be notified prior to delivery, none of which happened…. I decided to cancel my membership moving forward.

My original case “returned”. It was delivered, and went missing from my neighbour’s property” - she’s on holiday. So, someone must have taken it.

All the company were worried about was, “when they could collect it”.

How long it was in the sun? Where was it kept? Who had it? So many questions??

It sat in my front yard, waiting for collection, in the sun for a day.

I didn’t ask for reimbursement or anything of the sort, but if the customer happiness team kept the customer “happy”, I would still be a customer. I feel totally disappointed with the customer experience, the communication between all parties, the honesty and integrity, and I feel people have a right to know.

Has anyone else had their wine left unattended when they’ve asked for it to be signed for? It is actually illegal.

we received a notification saying the wine was on its way. We have been loyal customers since the days this business traded as Oak Road, through every name change and rebrand, and never expected the situation to deteriorate like this.

The order was placed before we had any idea the business was closing. I had ordered two of my regular Chardonnays at the quoted price, but instead an inflated amount was charged to the stored card belonging to the other person in our household — without consent and without explanation. Only after lodging an inquiry did we discover the business had already shut down.

Despite being permanently closed, what recently arrived were two boxes of cheap 2025 Mr Beckett Chardonnay — thin, harsh, low‑quality and nothing like what I ordered. Given the closure and the incorrect, inflated charge, this did not feel like an accidental mix‑up, but a deliberate attempt to make it appear as though the order had been fulfilled.

To make matters worse, there is now no way to contact the business to confirm whether our card details have been removed from their system. That is extremely concerning for any customer who has ever purchased from them.

For anyone reading this: operations like this often reappear under a new name with the same sales tactics. If you start getting calls from a “new” wine club offering mixed cases, unbelievable discounts, or trying to continue past relationships, it’s likely the same people behind yet another rebrand. Don’t be fooled.

use Australia Post, with delivery received in 4-5 days. I ordered a wine dozen for my family in metropolitan Adelaide on December 13th, as a xmas present. It's now December 30th and they are yet to receive the delivery! The tracking number given does not exist. In the metro area, Nick's uses a company called Aramex for deliveries. O'h dear, have a look at Aramex on Product Review! I can see where the problem lies. Nick's have chosen a courier on price, not competency. I will continue to order my wines from Nick's as they use Australia Post for my location. I will need confirmation of a courier change to ever order again for metro area delivery. Nick's need to address this situation quickly, as their deservedly good reputation is being quickly eroded.

collection. Unfortunately, the item arrived with one of the miniature bottles having leaked during transit, which resulted in some damage to the packaging.

I contacted Uptown Liquor to explain the issue, and I was extremely impressed with how quickly and professionally they responded. They immediately offered to organise a replacement and provided a return label, making the whole process incredibly straightforward.

The replacement has now arrived safely and in perfect condition, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.

What really stood out to me was the excellent communication, prompt response and genuine willingness to resolve the issue. Mistakes or damage can occasionally happen during shipping, but what matters is how a business handles the situation — and Uptown Liquor handled it exceptionally well.

I ordered Don Julio 1942 1.75 for $139 which is about half the price of a normal .750. Thought it might be too good to be true. It shows up that it is I log into the system and it tells me that my order can’t be found. My address is not in there but yet I clearly have an email with all that information on it. See below my recommendation is you do not use this company? They are very dishonest and I’ve had to go to my credit card company to have them dispute the transaction.

Two weeks went by and he didn't ship the wines or get back to me. After following up again he then said my wines have shipped. Expecting my full order to be fulfilled I received only half the order. I had to follow him up again via email and text and he didn't even respond to me but instead just refunded the cost of the wine he didn't have in stock. This took a month of constant follow ups and I didn't get the wine I ordered. Buyer beware
