Affiliate relationships do not determine how products are assessed or recommended. How are products assessed by Australian Product Guide? Australian Product Guide uses desk research and available product evidence such as manufacturer information, specifications, support material, retailer information and other relevant sources. It considers factors that may include features, suitability, trade-offs, availability and value for different consumer needs. Does Australian Product Guide physically test every product? No. Australian Product Guide's guidance is primarily desk-researched unless hands-on testing is specifically stated. The website does not represent products as physically or laboratory tested where this has not occurred. Can consumers compare products on Australian Product Guide? Yes. Australian Product Guide provides product comparison tools that allow consumers to review selected products and compare relevant specifications, characteristics and differences in one place. Australian Product Guide provides channels for consumers, brands and other parties to report errors or outdated information. Product details, retailer availability and pricing can change, so consumers should also confirm current information with the relevant retailer or manufacturer before purchasing.
