my right kidney', which resulted in the loss of that kidney. Prior assurances r from the senior laprascopic surgeon that he'd 'removed a 105MM tumour from a man's kidney' set my mind at rest, but awoke from surgery with the most excuciating pain imaginable and was discharged from hospital still in great pain days later. I was bleeding internally and was re-admitted on two separate occasions to be fitted with drainage tubes. My recovery was long and painful with multiple appointments with the surgeon's assistant. On one such visit I asked the following, with answers verbatim: "Why did you have to remove my kidney?" Answer: "We cut an artery". "Where?" Answer: "In the kidney". Conversation witnessed by a hospital employee. At a later date, with an oppointment with the senior surgeon, I expressed my dismay at the resulting loss, especially as he'd made such a definite statement prior. He replied, also verbatim : " I DIDN'T SAY THAT, I SAID THAT I'D REMOVED A MAN'S KIDNEY WITH A 105MM TUMOUR ON IT". An absolute blatant lie. I have the complete records of my hospital stay regarding this incident, including theatre notes, and nowhere do they refer to "a cut artery", but plenty of words to cover the reason for my loss. This is falsification of hospital records. My remaining kidney is now failing as a result of carrying the extra load with EGFR dropping to 22.
