found tony from bankruptcy solutions. He was incredible. He explained everything and helped me with my complex issues. Zoe the office girl was just wonderful and kind and so knowledgeable. You get what you pay for and when you’re looking at something like bankruotcy you just cannot treat it lightly you need to make sure you seriously have the right experts on your side. I wouldn’t recommend – Why ask someone who’s struggling from debts to pay $2,200 for invoice on top of that they ask for your credit card details. I wouldn’t recommend because im struggling enough to pay for these debts and they asking for 2grand i don’t think that’s necessary

So as I sat down one night googling what I should do. I came across this company (along with others when you type in the search engine bankruptcy).

This company suggests on its website there are no gimmicks or sales tricks, they offer free advice and the most cost effective way to go bankrupt. In fact a lot of companies similar to this one do. As soon as you submit an enquire on their website they are quick to text/call you and sympathise with your situation. In that moment you are by now feeling desperate and vulnerable. You feel like they get you, they understand you....even want to help you. There’s a catch though ☹️. It will cost you. So in my vulnerable, desperate state, I agreed to sign up at a cost of $1200. As I did not have $1200 straight up they said I could pay in instalments. Once it was paid they would proceed with filing my bankruptcy. So I started the process and started paying them and not my creditors (because remember I’m in debt and broke). The creditors kept calling/emailing.

I then went on the AFSA website. Guess what?? It’s totally free!! Yep that’s right FREE. Free advice, great call centre staff not trying to sign you up for anything. If you have problems with the paperwork they will help you through it over the phone. The call centre is open from 8am to 8pm.

WORD OF WARNING: When I called Bankruptcy Solutions to cancel my payment plan they tried very hard to keep me. It sounded like a sales pitch. It was almost like I was going to get a free set of steak knives if I stayed with them. Anyway recently I received an invoice from them saying the balance of payment was overdue. I sent them an email back saying I cancelled my arrangement with them but could I have my deposit of $400 back. The reply was something like this ‘unfortunately no; you cannot have your deposit back because under 4.c of the statement you signed you are not entitled and that money was is used to set up your account’ words to that effect. So it cost $400 to enter my details on a computers? So warning to all if you do sign up to any of these bankruptcy companies, even though you are desperate and looking for a way out of a financial crisis PLEASE read the fine print.
