Stay far away from this company!!!! Not only does the product not work as intended (emitting noise and vibration when dog is just sitting there and when he barks it doesn't emit anything) the customer service was terrible. Saying we are liars and threatening and intimidating them when all we did was ask for a refund as the product did not work, and went to consumer protection because they did not respond.

This device has worked for us!! – We have 2 chihuahua x Jack Russell’s and live on a corner of a busy road. My 2 little darlings don’t like anyone near the fences & some days would bark continuously until there was no one walking past or limited to no noise. Barktec did the trick for us – Our neighbour dog decided to continuously bark around 0300-0500h on a daily basis. for $85.89 including shipping. The unit arrived within a week, easy to set up and since the range was not more then 5m, I set it up directly line of sight to the problem area.
The manufacturer claimed one charge lasted a month, so far just over two weeks everything still work. Setting the unit simply involve 2 hrs a charge. Press a button to turn on and calibrate with a fake barking sound to which a light will come on a followed by beep sound. There are three settings, I don’t know which one is good so I went with the middle setting. The instruction manual description was not very good with regard to the various setting.
The barking now reduced considerably, now and then the dog will try but it no longer the continuous non stop howling and barking.
However since we no longer been disturbed I am thinking of switching unit off completely this Friday for good and see if the barking will start. But for now my little ones can sleep and I am happy with the purchase.

exchanged a few emails with a person by the name of [Name Removed] (I’m assuming the owner) because of the subtle snotty responses I would get. Like sending a picture of the unit and saying that I need to put it to high mode or asking me if the collar was used in water, etc. I felt like he was treating me like I was a dummy. I didn’t know how to react to this sort of treatment, so I informed him my husband is an electrician, to get him to back off a bit and I am copying the reply for your review. (Respectfully, the connection between your husband’s trade as an electrician and your successful use of citronella bark collar eludes me. it sends a silent call on the whistle, but it is not silent at all. Its almost deafening. The clicker is also too noisy and could damage the human ear.
Unfortunately this company is a scam. There is no Australian office, there is no dispatch from Sydney in 24 hours, the phone number is disconnected and they do not reply to any emails. Shonky supplier – Purchased 2 dog barking controls from QUIET PAWS in November 2023 however only one unit worked. Got onto the supplier and they told me to give them a few videos of the item, setting up, charging, that sort of thing. Sent the videos off and that was the last thing from the supplier. Numerous emails sent but no response from them. DO NOT DEAL WITH QUIET PAWS....rip-off merchants.
