Barktec Ultrasonic Bark Control 240° Pro

The Barktec Ultrasonic Bark Control 240° Pro which we bought online from eDog.com.au just has not worked with our Cavoodle. Judging from the reviews it depends on the dog breed. We have a very intelligent 3 YO Caboodle we rescued from a young busy couple when he was 18 months young. Because we live with 2 units behind our house which sees Australia Post trucks racing in and residents who never put their cars or bins in their garage, and load their cars loudly in the open, our little furball just barks at them. I feel like doing the same thing myself at times! We installed the Bark Control unit on in our small rear courtyard...in the sunlight so it would charge via its solar panel. The ultrasonic sound that we hoped would annoy him, and he would learn not to bark, did nothing. My advice is this...the unit will NOT work with a standard poodle above 22 kgs, and it does not work with small dogs from our experience.
