Bauhn 27000mAh Powerbank

Great _serious_ powerbank. Genuine 65W USB-C charging, 100W USB-C PD output. Usefully has a trickle mode (double-click) for those tiny devices like a bike light, which draw so little current that many power banks see no load and shut off. Its trickle mode solves that. Yet it can also charge your laptop. Now, the 27000 mAh thing? It’s true! The other reviewer doesn’t know the details. Batteries are made of multiple smaller batteries. The “true” capacity of this bank is 97.2(watt-hours) which is how you really measure battery capacity. Why 97? Well, flight regulations only allow a battery under 100Wh to be taken on board. Apple’s top end 16-inch MacBook Pro is also just under 100Wh. It’s a HUGE battery. But how do you compare power banks? It can deliver 20VDC @ 5A = 100W, or 5V@3A=15W, or less, or anything in between. Most typical power banks can only do 5VDC. The Li-Ion cells which make up a battery have a normal voltage range of 3.7V ea when flat, and 4.2V ea when full. This is how power banks are measured, 3.7V 10,000 mAh, for example. That’s 37Wh if it’s accurate. This battery, 3.7V 27,000 is 99,900 which is very close to the labeled 97Wh. So that’s where the numbers come from. It’s 2.7X The capacity of a genuine 10,000 power bank. Hope that helps. :) anyway I’ve only had it for a few days but it tests well so far. Nice that it comes with. Drawstring pouch too, and can output power over USB-A while being charged from USB-C.

Super satisfied with BAUHN's 27000mAh Powerbank – Reply to the previous comment, this product is indeed 27000mAh. It is obvious that this product is relatively large, with about 6 4500mAh battery cells. However, from a physics perspective, there are series and parallel connections, which is why 9000mAh is displayed. I trust ALDI and am very satisfied with this product.
Good value – This has basically identical charging specs, dimensions, weight etc to name-brand power banks of the same capacity and is significantly cheaper. Works fine out of the box and was about 30% charged at time of purchase. I cannot speak to the longevity yet. Build quality seems solid, however it feels like the type of plastic that might crack if you dropped it on a hard floor.
The back of the unit does state 9000 mAh at 11.1V, but this is equivalent to 27000 mAh at 3.7V (99.9Wh in both cases). Do not be put off by this, it is normal for manufacturers to advertise the 3.7V figure.

Deceptive Capacity Stated for Power bank – The power output capacity as stated on the front of the product and on the specifications on the Bauhn ALDI website is 3x higher than it actually is. On the back of the product, the supplied user guide with the product and downloadable user guide states only 9000mAh instead of 27000mAh. Totally deceptive.
