ALDI Bauhn Universal Travel Adaptor Kit ATAK-1118

Not International – Just arrived in Switzerland, and guess what the Aldi international (haha) plug doesnt have a Swiss adaptor. Apart from anything else, it has stopped working anyway, so as soon as Im back in Australia it will go back to the shop.

Not very useful for my needs – Seems like a great product with 4 USB ports but for my purpose I can only use one at a time because of the limit of the power. If you happen to plug in devices that exceed the limit then the USBs stop working altogether. This coupled with the restriction to 240V the product is virtually useless.

Certainly NOT universal – This may be a useful device but it definitely NOT a universal travel adaptor. Can only be used with 240v Voltage 50Hz supply, and maximum load is 720W. Can NOT be used in USA, Canada, Central or some parts of South America, and many more countries that use 110 - 120V and 60Hz supply. This device does NOT transform or adjust voltage (eg 220v <-> 110v) or frequency (50 <-> 60 Hz). Also, not suitable for hair dryers, kettles, heaters, etc where load is more than 3A (720W). Suitable for low load devices such as phone chargers, clock radio, laptop computers, etc. I hope this is better than the ATAK-014 which has terrible reviews (including catastrophic failure on 2nd use).
