Beach Sol customer experience – This company gets a 1 star due to my experience with them. paid $30 for shipping which l accepted as ok then when l received my refund they kept $50 due to paperwork which is part of there change of mind policy. I feel like I've been fleeced, l would not buy from any company that had a dishonest policy such as this, as l paid with After pay l still have $51.00 payment due to come out after my refund. NOT HAPPY!!!

Design improvements required – We purchased the 10 litre pro and the plastic is food grade quality so you can apparently drink from it. The unit did not work on arrival as the hose had been incorrectly fitted at the warehouse. We spent an hour persevering before trouble shooting using an online video. In terms of design/advertising, some feedback:

- handles on either side of the barrel would be very helpful to make it easier to carry larger capacity units like the one we purchased. Alternatively, a long carry handle/strap that can be fitted (or removed) to the cover would assist.

- the cover should be redesigned to slide on from the bottom/base of the water barrel, rather than the top. Currently, the design means that without handles/carry strap, and with the cover being fitted from the top, the cover slides up when you lift the tank to carry it. It means it’s more cumbersome and difficult to handle when full.

- the tank cover is not accurately advertised. The cover colour (if a colour is selected) is merely a sleeve that slides over the top of the tank/standard cover. In the advertised photos, there isn’t a coloured sleeve. Advertising shows a coloured sleeve which is sewn into the cover outer, not a seperate flimsy sleeve. This also means that the two covers slip and slide upward when carrying the unit.

The design is otherwise decent and performs ok.

Showering more pumping than you expect – Google beach soul troubleshooting and watch their how to use video before you buy to see if it meets your expectation.
