2 month expiry on the beer – Ordered a carton of NZ's Speights which was delivered quickly but the carton was ripped that wasn't a concern until I open it up noticed the the beer wasn't in its original 6 pack packing. I get the last case in such poor shape, low shelf life & at the premuim price they charge for it.

I'll just wait to go back NZ to drink again then order it from the BeerStore.

Disappointed & Frustrating- can't get what I ordered and taking forever to get my refund – I was informed after nearly two weeks that my order was actually out of stock with no idea of how long it would take for them to restock, which is frustrating as it was supposed to be a gift for my partner. A little slow in processing order but after that first rate – I ordered a case of beer that, most recently, has become hard to find. After making the order I waited about 4 business days before I received confirmation that my order was being processed. Unapologetic about mistakes, slow to process your order – Placed an order on the 15th of November for 2 items, easy to use website and a great range. Unfortunately, that's where the good stops. Good Range Terrible Service – Hard Truth. Beer Store it's 2017, not the stone age no one domestically should have to wait 10 business days to receive a package it's honestly appalling. I ordered the same product 2 days later from a different store and still received it before your original order. I receive 99% of my orders within 5 days domestically.

Great range, amazing customer service – I have used these guys to get hard to find alcohol a few times. I have always found them professional and prompt with orders and they are amazing when you need their help. Highly recommend for your alcohol needs!

Still waiting for my order – Been a week and my order is still processing...emailed them twice now and still no response. Just want to cancel my order and go elsewhere!

search and many emails I came across this place. They emailed me back within a day to say they imported it and stocked it. They could send it to me, but it probably wouldn't make it by Christmas which is fair enough, as I didn't really give them time by the time I'd found them. I chose to pick it up from their retail store, Acland Cellars, which is nearly a 2 hour drive from me, but worth it in my opinion to make mum happy. Their staff were very busy but still friendly, and they knew all about my email and what I was looking for. Can't wait to see the look on mums face, thanks guys! The only place that stocked what I wanted.

badly packed & 3 to 4 bottles missing & the rest sticky! So obviously there were breakages... Emailed about the state of the order & no response what so ever. Not happy after spending $130+... Would not place another order with these guys..... Great selection Service, follow up & packaging...

I was quick to place an order with the company. Unfortunately what followed was anything but quick. They quote 5-10 (week) days delivery so when I was entering the 4th week without sighting my order I sent off a polite email regarding the fate of my order. And then a couple of days later another email. A few days after that I just rang them not having received a reply to either email.

It turns out the items I ordered has been mis-listed. They came in 500mls bottles, not the 700mls that was listed on the site (and therefore my order). It was quickly worked out on the phone by an efficient staff member who followed up my enquiry and quickly rectified things. The stock arrived 2 working days later. Now, given that had ordered $200 worth and needed the items ASAP after the delay I didn't ask the obvious question of the guy over the phone - "if there was an issue with the order why wasn't I contacted, nevermind simply replying to my emails?" I wanted the items to arrive in time for the function I had coming up and didn't want to alienate the staff member on the phone. This at least seems to have paid off. He was great. Perhaps if he was put in charge of keeping customers informed as to the fate of the order I could give the company 5 stars.

Still I'll go back for their product range. 've had one of the major chains on-line sites do the same thing to me before. I must just be real lucky. I'll just make sure I use the phone to follow up on any delays. Great range of hard to get product (such as honey pepper vodka and gold leaf schnapps, amongst others) No follow up with problem orders, don't answer their emails.

Great selection, good experience – I ordered some beer for my partner's birthday, and the item was shipped out on time, however, a breakage occured with the courier company, and it took a couple days before it was all sorted out. delivery date got changed a couple of times, but Beer Store always responded and made sure to address my query. I ended up picking up the item due to the circumstances, although I understand normally once an order is made online, this isn't usually an option. The company graciously provided me with credit for the shipping costs, and overall, I am a satisfied customer and would definitely recommend Beer Store to anyone with exotic beer tastes. Reasonably priced, excellent selection, only place I've seen Staropramen in Australia. Takes a while to get a response sometimes.
