Bendigo Basic Black

They calculate interest fairly – I've had this credit card for 5 years and the main reason I got it is that the interest is calculated only on the amount you don't pay in full at the end of the month - not your outstanding amount PLUS any new purchases you make until you clear your balance. This is very different to most other credit cards I've looked at, and great for people who might sometimes forget to pay their account on time. Low interest which is calculated only on your outstanding balance from the previous month Overseas transaction fees aren't competitive
Great Credit Card! – Just like the name says - it's a basic credit card. It is fairly competitive, with 44 Interest free days, low rate of just over 11% for both Purchases & Cash Advances. Very Low Annual Fee. Pretty Basic and an easy credit card to use and understand. The only bummer is that it doesn't have a rewards program. Good interest rate. No rewards program
Good – Fantastic basic credit card. This was the best card i could find at the time and is still fairly competitive. 44 Interest free days or interest calculated daily. Low rate of 9.95% for both Purchases & Cash Advances. $45 Annual Fee. Pretty Basic and easy credit card to use and understand. Low Interest Rate, Low Annual Fee, Fee Free Cash advances. Plain Looking Card, No rewards program option
Good – The bendigo basic black is a great basic credit card with competitive rates and all the convenience of any other credit card I've used. It's not as nice to flash around everywhere compared to other cards, but the interest rates and fees are very competitive and it works just fine. Plus the customer service at Bendigo Bank is better than any of the Big 4. Low interest rate, low annual fee, cash advances with no penalty No rewards, not very attractive, can be hard to locate a Bendigo branch if there's a problem
