Berwick Skin Cancer Centre

Questionable Marketing Tactics. Berwick Skin Caner Centre started emailing me once I was on their system as a next of kin. They had some of my details wrong and it took them a couple of goes to get them right. I did go there once to have a spot looked at. They told me I would be contacted in a week as a piece of skin was removed for a biopsy. After a month I contacted them to enquire about my result. They admitted it hadn't been sent out. Since then I have been receiving emails from them via HotDoc. I cannot unsubscribe from these emails as Hotdoc have them listed as important medical information. They are not. If I unsubscribe at the Hotdoc level from all communications, I might miss something important from another medical provider.
I called the centre and requested my name be taken off the mailing list. They said it was out of their control, which it isn't. After two more emails over a few months, I called again and asked to be totally scrubbed from their system. They've lost a customer as a result of their questionable email marketing methods. The physical medical service side of things was fine, but their administrative processes are not in keeping with what I'd expect from a medical services provider.
