Their own published results aren't even backing them up – The owner Joel has always told the members to stay for the long ride as this is how they make profits in betting. This is reasonable because I understand the concept of variance. But bruh just looking at the results they published, you would know how much of a joke their service actually is. For the black package, on 27/08/2023, the results was + 1340 units and all the way to 12/05/2024, it moved to +1351 units. This is a total course of 40 weeks which I believe is a sufficient long time to test the system. This would mean that the members would have paid $4000 (each week is $99.99) to earn an eleven units growth. (Assuming they got all the price they have quoted which is basically impossible) Basically with them you would lose a lot of money plus the effort and time to make the bets.
I have personally lost over 40 units in a span of 30 days and I have no faith of it getting better based on the results I saw above. I can't help but have to cut this off to stop my loss. Please do not get on with them. YOU WOULD REGRET.
AFL & NBA Tips & Stats – The in depth analysis that this service provides are to me what proves the value of this service. Despite the outcomes which of course hold variance like in any betting, I've been really impressed with the breakdowns in comparison to other services I've been a part of in the past. I've been able to produce positive overall returns following consistently over two and a half years, big tick from me.

Bet With Joel Reviews - AFL 2022 & EVERYTHING you need to know before you sign up – I've used many sports tipping services in the last 10 years and purchased Bet With Joel AFL 2021 & 22 packages. My personal experience is below and is based solely on my own opinion. Here's the positive: - Great app which allows you to track your bets, odds you're able to get on and overall performance from week to week. The results are automatically updated after games so no need to work out your wins and losses yourself.
- With the app installed you are given a 10 minute warning when tips are going to be sent. This is crucial for stopping what you're doing and getting in front of a computer with all the bookies open. Then when the tips arrive (in the app or via email) you can get the best odds available (usually means checking all of the bookies for the best odds for each market).
- They offer really good support and will almost always reply to emails and messages within a short period of time.
Here's the negative: - The odds you will be able to get each tip at will be significantly lower than what they base their results and profit on. I believe they must lock in the tips themselves early in the week at the higher odds quoted in emails and then when they send the tips out to members a few days later the price of each tip has usually decreased 95% of the time.
For example the Lachie Neale Most Disposals Group A tip the price they had it at was $2.60 however under Additional Notes in the email they sent to members on the day the best price available was around $2.15 and I got on the tip at $2.20. The difference may not seem like a lot but it adds up especially when they nail a disposal group winner at great odds but the odds you got it at were 50% lower (Jy Simpson Swans vs Roos)!
- If you're not very fast to stop what you're doing and get on the tips as they arrive the lines will move against you quickly. For example the Fremantle Dockers total line of 160.5 points had moved 3 points down to 157.5 3 minutes after the receiving the tips email. I have highlighted these timing differences in some of my screenshots.
I asked Bet With Joel if they were able to send the tips out earlier in the week to allow us to get the higher odds and better value lines advertised but I did not receive a response.
- I believe the money back guarantee is a toothless tiger due to the points above. AFL 2022 made a total profit of +0.66 according to Bet With Joel records. However if you consider the fact members were not able to get on the prices of the tips quoted in the emails it means we did not make a profit and actually would of lost money. We were offered a discount on next season not a refund hence this made up my opinion.
If you do subscribe to any of the sports they offer my main advice is to be prepared to make less profit than what they advertise and you shouldn't be disappointed with the results. The losing 2022 AFL season for their members appears to be an anomaly for them as the previous AFL seasons made profit for members.
