Drains battery within 3 days – Worst scales ever! I turn the unit off to save the battery. Still batteries only last 3-4 days - yes DAYS! Absolutely ridiculous

Would be great with a dedicated off switch, – Perfectly good set of kitchen scales. Sleek looking. Can re zero when adding more ingredients. However, turns itself on every time you pick it up, bump it, move it etc. Runs the batteries down. Really needs a switch to lock the scales off when you're not using them, or its own space on the bench where nothing touches it between uses. Good precision (1g). Can use any bowl and keep adding ingredients. Turns on at the slightest touch which runs the batteries down.
