Black & Decker Reflex GL545

Great Line Trimmer - 20 years service and counting – Bought this Line trimmer in the UK many years ago. It has been used extensively and has been a great tool. Light, flexible, versatile , but powerful enough to make a fast neat job every time. May not be as aggressive as some petrol trimmers (but starts every time!), but this can be an advantage in that it get into all the crevices without gouging or marking. After about 20 years of "abuse" the bearings were starting to get a bit noisy. I dismantled it, blew it out, and forced grease into the bearings. It now goes better than ever. Right for another 20 years? If I could find where to buy a new one (the models seem to have changed), I would.
