RUbbish – Bought as a present. Receiver is useless. Im close to the city and it scans for stations, finds them, says tuning and then not available. When It dose have a station tuned there is no volume. Very disappointing for a large branded item. Wished l'd returned it straight away. Show details
Can't even turn it on now !!! – Bought new for Xmas 2014 . Worked when first plugged in radio fine and iPod docking ok . Then when turned on it continuously tells me iPod docked even when not and starts to count upwards on a stop watch on screen . Can't get radio or iPod now !!! Unusable even as an alarm click now .. Help!!!!!
Terrible system – I thought Blaupunkt was a good brand but this system was [censored word removed]. Radio reception was bad, it keeps fading in and out and heaven forbid trying to get reception on windy days! The radio doesn't pick up reception if you put the iPhone in for charging either. It worked once but never after that. I won't even try to get the iPad hooked… Read more
up. It's the worst design ever for it. I've tried to plug in my iPad 2 but it took me ages and way more trouble then just getting out the normal charger. Definitely not convenient. It's digital. Sound was ok. Bad reception, cannot have radio on when charging iPhone
Seriously - Save your money – I bought this radio less than 6 month old from an online company. It was working fine until recently. The music kept stopping and starting. The music just slowly faded away and then everything was fine. I tried to unplug and plugged it back, but the music kept stopping and starting, which was very annoying. Very disappointed. I thought… Read more
Blaupunkt was a reliable brand! Obviously NOT!
In hindsight, I should have bought a Roberts instead. The design. Expensive for such a poor quality.

?????nNasty – I brought two of these from an online company. Had already tested Dab+ reception using a cheap Dab+ portable in the positions I wished to install them. The portable had 100% signal reception. These pieces of rubbish continually fade in and out varying from signal error 3 to sig. err. 16 (max?). Just walking close (1m) creates distortion. them has bass distortion that sounds like a blowfly in a tin can. These are a typical example of once respected manufacturers screwing third world suppliers down to the last fraction of a cent and then abandoning any attempt at quality control. They are going back pronto. Nice logo. Poor reception. Bad sound quality. Fiddly alarm setting method.
Poor sound – Bought this online and was hoping Blaupunkt would make a good quality product. As soon as I lifted the box I was worried. It was so light and listening to it confirmed the poor audio quality. No battery back up either. Makes for an expensive clock. Digital radio works OK but we are in a marginal coverage area so I can't blame the device for that. It looks OK, iPad compatible Poor sound, no battery back up.
Disappointing sound quality – Hard to believe a well known brand such as Blaupunkt could produce a device with such poor sound quality. It produces sound that's worse than devices one quarter of the size and half the price. Lacking bass, with virtually nothing below 100Hz; massive hump around 200Hz; and muddy sound with no treble. Harks back to the sound quality Blaupunkt… Read more
might have produced back in the 70's. Needless to say, I returned the Oslo iDock, and bought a Soundfreaq Sound Rise - much better. Looks good; DAB works well; alarm sounds pleasant; works with iPad. Terrible sound quality; poor quality LCD screen is very directional; buttons feel cheap and plasticky.
