Had a recent visit to the Colac branch of Blooms the chemist with a bit of a tricky question. My wife and I are travelling to W.A. on Saturday for six weeks. My issue was that I had just ordered a months worth of tablets, and I was going to have to… Read more
order another months worth on my med advisor app. within the prescribed time. The young lady, Finlay, was brilliant. She explained that I could add another months worth on my app. but had to add a note in the message section. She also mentioned that the additional scripts would not be added to the "Net" orders (which I found strange but quite correct). Finlay was exceptional in my opinion for a young person of what I guess is her age bracket. I am 75 years of age and until I recently retired, was in the commercial field all my working life; so I know good service when I see it. Just need to add, that until Sunday, I had never set eyes on Finlay and would not know her from a bar of soap. What a great asset.
Kind regards,
Raymond Maxwell Colac
Follow-up · All good. Issue sorted thank you.
At Blooms I have always been served by amazing staff giving great advice. However they take safe safe options off the market. Those items are not selling because they keep getting removed. Customers migrate to less safer options to continue their supplies. I feel that too often the products removed are not selling as well as they should be,… Read more
because other companies just pay more for marketing. This happened again last month. “Mood Re-Neu” manufactured by Ethical Nutrients was withdrawn from the Bloom store range, despite this product not having the obscene doses of vitamin B 6, which is 20 mg in Swiss Mood. I use this product for menopausal vasomotor instability, when the hot and cold flushes affect my ability to sleep. All Blooms need to do is make customers aware that this product does not exceed the 1mg daily dose for vitamin B6. Currently the pharmaceutical company Blackmores (according to the news) are being sued for their Biomagnesium product which contains 50mg of vitamin B6. So please keep the safer products available in your stores and not on the lowest shelf, cheers Cheryl
Blooms you make me feel valued. Such caring staff. Mandy and Nicole and all the staff always ready and willing to help with anything. Such a lovely surprise to win this beautiful prize. Made my day Thankyou
Follow-up · My prize was a pack filled with beautiful products from Blooms. Staff especially Mandy and Nicole always make the time to see how I am going. The rest of the staff are always friendly and helpful

Inflated prices – Price of antibiotics filled elsewhere $21.99 Blooms chemist the pines shopping centre today $29.13 such inflated prices. Go elsewhere to save.
Blooms the not chemists – Attended blooms the chemist only to be double scripted and given non generic when I asked for original brand was refused a refund even though it was thier fault Then the woman said she could dispose of the product without a refund but I think what she meant to say was I’ll take the sticker off and sell it to someone else and pocket my money for nothing. And was also told that the generic is the same as the original what a liar.
Very expensive, 3 times more !!! – Both the same item , eyes gel, elsewhere and at Blooms in Miranda... the last one charged me 3 times more!!!!!! This chain of chemist shops are incredibly hungry for money , poor people that have no car or living in isolated areas have been ripped off. Please check by yourself!

I have always enjoyed frequenting this Pharmacy on Reynolds Road, Mt Pleasant WA which is directly adjacent to my GP's Medical Centre and only a mere 7 minutes from home. Most of the Pharmacy Staff are very friendly, including their young assistants… Read more
and even though it's only based on a seemingly small space, all my medications, including the ones of a Specialist are normally readily stocked by them. I have since found no need to go to Chemist Warehouse ever more since they do price match.
Unfortunately, yesterday 28/7 I felt quite ill, after having been ill for a week already and being at an advanced age reaching nearly 80, I knew that it was best to have my special meds, "Avelox" delivered if possible so I called and the Pharmacist on duty took my call. I do know her, she is of a special background just like I am.
I do understand that it was 4pm (closing time 6pm) when I called and when I asked if I could please get some help and hoped for a delivery even at a cost, I was told that they are on "skeleton Staff" but that she would try and email a company to see if delivery could take place. Within 5 minutes she called back to say she had emailed but no reply was received so "sorry, no delivery". I then begged to see if a staff member could possibly drop it off after work at extra cost (as this had been done for me before by another local Pharmacy Agency but unfortunately, they do not stock Avelox, unless ordered previously), considering I'm a local but again the answer was "no, sorry, we are on skeleton staff". She then said: "Don't you have a neighbour or a partner who could collect the meds?" to which I replied that I live amongst the elderly and I have no such partner (at 80 years?!) but just as I wanted to ask if she could please dispense the Avelox so that it's ready for me, she hung up rudely!
I urgently needed the meds in order to stay out of hospital so I decided to gather my strength and drove my car to them. To my surprise there was no sign of working on "skeleton staff" as through all the years, they have always only worked with 2 staff members, being such a small pharmacy.
Upon entering the Pharmacy, she saw me from behind the counter but quickly pretended that she did not see me. I then approached the Assistant and asked to be served by her. I do know all of their staff members and she too was a lovely young lass. Even the male staff members are always friendly which made me wonder if that particular Pharmacist was perhaps going through her menopausal moments? I had been served by her before and she can be very temperamental - quite unpleasant, unless we praise her.
If this is the kind of service we receive from this particular staff member, I'd suggest she works from home so that she does not have to deal with ill Clients who are in need of help and hope for some kindness especially as an elderly and to even have the cheek to come up with "or your partner"?! My husband DIED 20 years ago, how dare she... Sorry but I was bitterly disappointed with her lack of Professionalism, empathy and manners. One day she herself will be old too..!
Follow-up · I attended Blooms Chemist in Mt Pleasant WA yesterday, 3.9.25 in order to have a new prescription dispensed and the same woman I complained about was on duty. Her attitude had NOT changed, she pretended not to see me which was essentially rude and instructed her assistant to serve me, acting as if she were busy. I do not mind being disregarded by… Read more

Blooms The Chemist in Bundaberg is the best pharmacy in the whole of Australia, for service, professionalism and customer care. My husband even got his flu shot there. Cannot recommend them too highly.
A very happy regular customer – If you want a kind, caring, gorgeous, chemist who makes time to discuss any query you may have, then this is the chemist to go to. Zara is the lovely chemist in Eastgate Bondi , she is extremely knowledgeable , patient and helpful . She is supported by her happy, helpful staff including sweet Emma and her colleagues .

I would NEVER use this chemist again (Salamander Bay). Unfair and dangerous sales tactics to get a quick sale. Extremely aggressive and rude owner. DO NOT buy a CPAP machine from them until you have had second opinions and don't listen to their scare tactics to get a fast expensive sale. I put in a complaint with the Blooms Franchise and they have done nothing so I have put in complaints with Fair trading and Health Professional Authority.
Blooms chemist in Westfield Penrith is overpriced. On average, brand prescriptions at this Blooms are at least $10-12 more expensive than Chemist Warehouse. If you go with generic brands, this Blooms is at least double the price vs Chemist Warehouse. Highly recommend to do a price check before purchasing. I won’t come back.

The new branded chemist in the plaza really will find any excuse not to exchange shoes for a bigger size, so be aware. Never purchase a box with a tear, you will be accused of that and double check shoes before purchasing because you will get the blame if there is any blemishes. My shoes were exchanged and she told me the money will come out of… Read more

Really bad experience – I initially love going to blooms chemist in bakewell the ladies there are very helpful and passionate with their jobs. However these new hires are incompetent in what they do. Last time i filled a script i didnt get my paper script back. It was supposed to be a 1 of 5 script. However the lady, Voz, kept on insisting she filled the order for me.… Read more
Gaslighting me that i forgot to bring my script. I had to tell her the person who served me was someone else. She made me feel like i am mentally challenged. I just felt so frustrated i rebook my doctor and i would drive further away to chemist warehouse to get my medication. Never again i will comeback there.
Very rude and unprofessional assistant – Unbelievably rude staff (Perri) at Blooms chemist Darch Western Australia. I was totally misinformed and when I asked why I was hung up on. Very disappointed
Very happy with online ordering experience – I ordered a currently hard to get medication online in the evening. The following morning their pharmacist (Kylie) called me to discuss with me my requirement for this Pharmacy Only medication. She was very helpful and friendly. I paid $4 extra for express delivery, and it arrived the next morning via Australia Post. I couldn't be happier with the service that I received from them.
Blooms the Chemist Stud Park - they care for our old folk – Blooms in Stud Park look after my elderly father's needs including his medication. They do everything they can for him and do it with a smile and care. Local chemists like this one perform such a valuable service for our older folk. They seem to treat it as a service to the community. I for one am very grateful.
Bad customer service – I purchased a pair of hoop earrings from blooms and when I opened the packet and went to put them on I notice the clip at the back was loose and the earrings wouldn't stay shut I took them back and told them they told me they couldn't do anything because I had opened them how would I know otherwise that it was faulty never shopping there again.
Blooms the chemist Forestville – This chemist is a stand out in excellent service. ALL the staff and pharmacists are the best we have ever encountered. They are all so friendly, caring and extremely attentive. The pharmacy is always busy but their attention to customers is always A1PLUS. David
terrible service with people not knowing what they are doing. Half asleep – penrith plaza blooms chemist. Never ever go there. Given wrong medication the pharmacist told me she would exchange it. Yet today walked in there and they changed their story. WILL NEVER EVER SET FOOT IN the chemist blooms penrith plaza again.

Exceptional – Service is exceptional, always someone out in the shop area to answer questions about products on the shelves. Very friendly staff and always engage in polite conversation. Product knowledge is very impressive.
Don't Trust Click & Collect – Have ordered Click & Collect twice recently and not been given the promised service. They promise order will be ready within 3 hours if made before 2pm. Both times I have ordered around 9am and not heard a thing until I chase them up. Worse still, they don't care! This is at Tweed City and Banora Point.
irresponsible – My holistic vet ordered iron for my pet and took 5 days to get back to me just to ask more questions i had emailed them a screenshot with the recommendations by the vet. i generally like blooms products.i should of been contacted sooner.
RUDE STAFF AT BANORA – Blooms is the closest chemist to our new house and we were intending to use them regularly. My husband went in and inquired if they had his diabetes medication. NO was the reply. He asked if they could order it. NO again. The older woman who served him was extremely rude. We are in a new resort with about 150 residents who will all be told of the disgusting service. Will never go near a Blooms chemist again.
Staff member perfect. SHIRLEY – I went to Blooms at Stud Park on 26/12/23 and was served by Shirley........ she was the most helpful chemist assistant that I have ever come across.......nothing was too much trouble........a credit to the Blooms pharmacy........
Blooms Crows Nest NSW - Arthur – Attended Blooms @ Crows Nest on a Sunday. I’ve recently been released from hospital so it’s not easy for me to get around so i phoned ahead to check if they had my prescribed medication. Spoke to a nice girl who went and checked, she said they had 2 boxes (40) in stock, she didn’t check on the system but physically as asked Arrived at the store a… Read more
while later and was met by a pharmacist called Arthur, I’m betting that’s his adopted Australian name. His real name is probably King Wang Chung. He went to dispense the script and had a conversation I couldn’t hear then says ‘we don’t have any in stock’….I questioned him about this then with some form of Chinese magic he produced 5!!?? I asked him ‘Which one of you is lying because the lady checked and there were 2 boxes’ With all the courage of an absolute coward he pointed to the lady behind her back and said ‘She’s new’
I said ‘jezzzzus take some responsibility I don’t think she lied at all and either way you are her supervisor!!’ After a few minutes he eventually admitted there were in fact 2 boxes but they were for someone else! Unfreekn believable! Rude disgusting little fish head Is Arthur with most likely a 3 inch appendage
If you can’t do your job stick to making paper swans you lying filthy little ferret
Stay away from Blooms Crows Nest.
I’ll be logging a formal complaint as well.
The staff made fun of me – My brother heard them talking about my appearance and that I look like a stuck up [Content Removed]. Really what I needed when I’d come in to get something for my anxiety and depression lol . Was shouldered as I was leaving by the girl who was talking about me . Wouldn’t go to blooms again if I was paid .
False advertising about price matching – They advertise price matching by sending a voucher for online orders but they dont send the vouchers. I have emailed twice and both times I got an automated reply but no action. I should have just ordered the cheaper priced product from the other competitor and it would have been delivered by now.
Irresponsible and places security of medicine at risk – Shocking service by the pharmacist and owner Claudia at Ballina . She refused to give her last name so a complaint could be lodged. I'm ill and unable to stand. Currently in temporary accomodation. They refused to deliver urgently needed medication to the room I'm in which is directly opposite the car park accessed by the street. leave prescription medicine with a person who is not me or at an unmanned office. Claimed they were doing me a favour. Irresponsibility like this is what results in prescription medicine falling into the wrong hands. Claudia is rude and irrational and has no consideration for health.
