Book Bolt
1 review
I recently had a very disappointing experience with Book Bolt. While using their AI image generator, I created 24 images which consumed 345 credits. During the process, the built-in AI assistant instructed me to refresh the page. After following this instruction, all 24 images disappeared, but the credits were still deducted. I reported this to support, but was told that used credits cannot be restored. This response did not take into account that the issue was caused by guidance provided within their own platform.
In addition, my subscription was due to expire at midnight, but my account was cancelled earlier in the evening (around 8:14 PM), as shown in my screenshot. This resulted in the loss of a further 655 unused credits and early termination of access I had already paid for.
In total, I lost 1000 credits due to a combination of:
Misleading AI assistant instructions Refusal to review an exception case Premature cancellation of a paid subscription
I attempted to resolve this directly with support but did not receive a fair outcome.
Based on this experience, I would advise others to be cautious, particularly when relying on the AI assistant or working close to subscription expiry.
