Wakes you up in the middle of the night – It's an alright printer, basic and reliable. BUT its woken me up twice now in the middle of the night with its automatic cleaning. Very basic printing quality. Windows program is very basic as well. Reliable Cheap looking Windows program. Wakes you up in the middle of the night with its automatic cleaning cycle. Expensive cartridges
very good for home printing if gone with the compatible refillable cartridges – I got in an offer for INR. 2200/- (M.R.P. INR 4500/-) In early i have took lots of print outs and then took poster size photos of my family for hanging around in the house, they look amazing. and finally the ink cartridges are empty. then i looked out for original cartridges from brother oem. It was hard to find out a dealer and ask him about the cartridges LC-38. They told that the cartridges are yet to come and they cost about INR 3200/-
I got shocked about that and just imagined what to do if again these cartridges are empty. They aren't even refillable. So i left the MFC like that and just used it whenever a SCAN is needed. Finally i have seen Refillable cartridges on ebay.in and when i bought it it is going fine. I can use as much ink as needed without hesitation and any no. of print outs. when the cartridges are empty i can refill them on my own very easily.
I give 4/5 rating for the Multi Function Center. reliable and easy to use OEM cartridges which aren't refillable are very costly
