Brother HL-L2375DW

good and bad – fine for printing off documents but cannot get anything straight on the single-sheet feed-in
Purchased in at Harvey Norman.
Toner replacement feels like a scam – This printer works fine. I couldn't get it to connect via WiFi with my work device, but was able to connect with a cable. I am however very annoyed, and feeling really ripped off, by the toner situation. Remember when you could print when the toner was low? The page might have been pale, but it was readable and fine for a draft or emergency or whatever. And you could shake the cartridge a bit to get the most value out of your toner? Well forget that. This printer simply stops printing when the "low toner" message turns up. And back you go to spend another $141 at Officeworks on a toner cartridge that is meant to print 3000 pages (3 reams double sided, which I don't think I have ever achieved). It seems like this device has been designed to drive higher than necessary use of toner and hence ongoing costs for the consumer. 1 star for the bad taste left in my mouth by feeling ripped off on an ongoing basis!
Purchased at Officeworks Physical store.
Brother HL-L2375 – Satisfaction Guaranteed: -monochrome print quality=OK -features/controls and performance=OK -connectivity and support=OK -reliable and consistent quality=OK A great compact printer from the leaders in this field, between the $100-200 dollar mark for your basic needs in monochrome. This is not designed as a color printer and performs extremely well for what it was designed to do. Delivered next day by Officeworks as promised. Great for educational purposes addition to my daughter's desktop environment. New toner gets 3000 pages at under $30, winning.
Thanks Brother.

PERFECT B&W WIRELESS PRINTER – Setup is super easy. Wifi works (almost) flawlessly. Being able to print from across the house via a wifi connection makes for an amazing printer. Black and white is all you need. Get yourself this printer and be happy. Buy cheap compatible toner on eBay (or other websites).

Great value laser printer – Finally decided to switch from an inkjet printer as I was so sick of buying expensive ink cartridges that dry up, clog, bleed etc. Purchased from Officeworks for $179 and couldn't be happier with it. I was expecting to have trouble with the initial setup after reading various reviews of others who had purchased similar Brother printers, but setup only took about ten minutes tops! Printouts are fast, clear and crisp with minimal noise.
This model also features automatic double-sided printing which is a big plus. Some things to note about the printer:
- It doesn't come with a USB cable (purchase separately if needed). - The included toner is to get you started with approx. 700 pages of printing. - This particular model has a power cord that cannot be removed from the printer.
- The quick start guide is a bit misleading - do NOT fill the printer with paper during initial setup as this will cause the printer to jam!
- The easiest way to setup wireless printing is to press the WPS button on your router and then press the WiFi button on the printer and wait until the printer says 'Connected'. Then proceed to install the drivers/software on your computer. Wireless printing works only on the 2.4 GHz band and not 5 GHz so be sure to check your router settings before setting up.
