Brother MFC-665CW

Not good performance – I bought Brother Multifunction Printer MFC665 and within two years the Printer was not printing well. With phone service help did so many cleaning sessions without success. Then wanted me to take to Authorised Service Agent to say PrintHead needs replacement at cost approx.$400. The machine was bought for $380 ! Finally threw it away and bought a MFC-9840CDW Laser Colour Printer and similarly I am now having trouble after only two years & <5000prints. This time service cane home and couldn't correct problem and took away the machine to work shop.

Now nearly two weeks passed the service company & Brother have been playing with it without yet finding the fault and now talk of a faulty card which they suspect !

Excellent – Considering you get 9 modules in one with this machine, coupled with an easy to use interface and Brother's penchant for giving you more than your money's worth, you'd be mad to not include this one on your short list. Highly recommended! Full featured, easy to use and with an easy to read LCD screen. It's phone book is particularly brilliant and let's you choose from either speed dial numbers or quick alphabetical entries. Scanning software is good and allows for the convenience of saving to PDF format which I require from time to time. The paper tray could accomodate more paper. Although the height of the machine is quite low compared to others, the ability to store at least another 100-200 sheets would have made this unit perfect.
