great little scanner but be wary if using a Mac – Scans quickly and accurately and the duplex function is very handy. I only use it connected to my mac mini so I can't comment on its battery or portability but its nice and small. Word of warning though, this scanner does not play nicely with macs. The supplied software hardly ever works but opening the scanner section in settings can usually get it to work. Occasionally it just won't play and I have to reboot the mac and scanner.

Scanning perfection – We have had printers for many years that are also scanners. But nothing comes close to the portability and ease of use of our new Brother scanner. Small, light and scans pages very quickly. A great travel companion.
