Jared and Kurt fixed my subsidence problems today. Communication was excellent throughout. I was kept informed of progress at every stage. The work area was left clean and tidy. I’m very happy with the outcome and the professional approach taken. The follow up phone call from head office was also appreciated.

A great subsidence correcting company – As we live in the Hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, some of the terrain is subject to landslips and subsidence. but if we use more expanding foam fill, it will cost you extra”. The 2 man team (Kurt & Jordan) were fantastic. Not only did they pump more expanding foam fill in than they expected, they did not stop at just stabilising the subsoil foundations, they went the extra mile and lifted the building. Granted that they could not lift the building as much as we had all expected, but they talked to us through the process, explaining the pros and cons of continuing. Even though they had some issues during the day that delayed them completing the job in one day (as expected and quoted), they rebooked us in for another day to complete the job. As you may know, to return, the setup cost is a large proportion of the total job. The return job will be totally included in the original quote. Very professional, very dedicated and very well priced. I can certainly recommend them over any other operators in Queensland. Once they return to complete the job, I will update this review.

Fast reliable service – From quote to service -process was fast and effotless on our side. Brad and Sam explained the entire process whilst they were lifting our garage wall. We would definitely recomend Buildfix.

A rare ethical company! – Matt came to our place for an inspection about six months ago. After inspection, we were told to fix our stormwater drainage system (located on sloppy land) and let the ground settle for five mths. 5 mths later, he came over for another assessment. Guess what? other company quoted us about AUD17k and has been following up to see if we would like to go ahead with the job! More ridiculously, they only did a visual assessment! Unlike Buildfix, where Matt came with equipment to thoroughly check the house foundation and email us our house foundation movement report with the CSIRO Foundation maintenance broucher as an attachment to provide us with more confidence that our house doesn't need to be fixed.

I would strongly recommend this ethical company to all!

Poor customer service! – Sent an enquiry to book an inspection and received emailed saying they'd email back in 3 business days. Waited 3 business days and heard nothing so I called them. Was told they'd put a note and to expect a call later that day. Heard nothing again. Called again the following day and was told they'd have someone follow it up. Received an email back… Read more

saying they didn't service my area. This was highly frustrating as I provided my area in the original enquiry so they had this information immediately so I don't know why they 'strung me along'. This also only delayed me in having to search for another company as well.

Buildfix wall crack repairs – Ryan and Justin from Buildfix have just completed wall crack repairs on our house. Fortunately they spotted a discrepency between the the job sheet provided by Buildfix admin and the outline of work in the quote provided to us by Bruno. and proceeded to bring job up to promised specifications. This added over 2 hours extra time to the job. The result was "tradesmanlike" and cosmetically pleasing. Both parties are now satisfied with the work. I am very happy to recommend Ryan and Justin from Buildfix who were courteous, timely, skilled and maintained good client relations. I suggest the admin may benefit from a procedure review.

Poor customer service – They never return phone calls and it is extremely difficult to get in touch with any of their engineers. Got a quote from them and they were good and quick to provide a quote, but had a few questions about the process and called their office couple of times and was told their engineer will call me back. Still waiting for the call for the past 3 weeks.... very disappointing.

Very happy with Buildfix and happy to recommend – They do everything right. Answer emails, turn up when they say, do a good job and clean up. Plus they are nice to deal with and their price was significantly less than another quote.

Brick Wall Repairs - Reliable, Exceptional Customer Service – I rarely give five stars but this company did an excellent job of repairing brick walls with cracks on our 1930s building. They stood out for their amazing customer service - fast, polite, friendly, clean with exceptional communications from quote through to thorough post-work report.
