splits ironbark easy – I have had my bus rangers for about 9 moths now and I am splitting mainly Ironbark and I haven't found anything that it hasn't split there were time when I thought nope wont split this and then split it with no trouble> I would recommend this unit to anybody I can't fault the build

-fuel cap is a half turn type and comes loose and falls off when engine running -the plate which drives the wedge along the beam has a high leading edge so doesn't push flat bits of wood up to the wedge very well, can cause wood to get flung out. Negatives aside I highly recommend this unit. I looked at different makes, non seemed to be same quality or have same after sales service available - bought from a Stihl Shop.
