These are exactly the same as what is on eBay for less than $20 each, they charged $130 odd bucks for the same product and advertised that was even a special deal. What a scam! Beware Show details

DO NOT BUY - ITS A SCAM! You will never get your money back from them even with their “30 day guarantee” plastered all over their website. They request an absurd number of answers to questions around how you are using the device and even have the audacity to request a video of it being used. Am I meant to sit around with the video recorder and… Read more

wait for my dog to bark to simply show the device doesn’t work? I bought it thinking there was comfort in being able to return it if it didn’t work for my dog, how wrong I was. Save your money!!! This business has now also been reported to the ACCC

Product Didn’t Work and the “Guarantee” Is Extremely Difficult to Claim I purchased two Barkbuddy devices after seeing the advertised 30-Day Bark-Free Money Back Guarantee. Unfortunately, in my experience the product simply didn’t work. I used the devices consistently for over six weeks, followed the setup instructions, tested different… Read more

placements, adjusted frequencies as recommended, and even supplemented with reinforcement training techniques. Despite all of that, there was no meaningful change in my dog’s barking behaviour.

What has been more frustrating than the product itself is the process of trying to claim the advertised guarantee.

Instead of honouring the guarantee when requested, the support team repeatedly extended the trial period and introduced additional requirements after the fact. Each response required more information, more testing, and additional troubleshooting steps. After confirming that the device was functioning correctly but simply ineffective for my dog, I was then asked to provide detailed usage logs, behavioural reports, and even a video demonstration of the device being used with my dog before they would consider the refund request.

At this point it feels less like a “money-back guarantee” and more like a lengthy qualification process designed to make refunds difficult.

I appreciate that results may vary between dogs, but when a product advertises a clear guarantee, customers reasonably expect that it will be honoured without excessive hurdles once the product has clearly failed to deliver results.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product.

From the false advertising of 30 day money back guarantee to the ineffective product. They will not consider a refund until you have had the product 30 days from delivery date in which time you have voided the guarantee, hence their loophole. The… Read more

Bark Buddy, which has a high frequency enabler to stop dogs barking caused my older dog to bow her head turning it from side to side. The younger dog did take notice and so did the next door neighbours dog who ran inside his house. The company would not refund me after telling them of this and told me to continue using it for 30 days regardless. My younger dog in the end takes no notice of the Bark Buddy. Give this company and products a miss.

Follow-up  · I don’t use the product anymore. After three weeks my dogs don’t take any notice of it. When I did use it the dog next door would run inside when pointing it at my dog when she was near the fence. The range is only a few metres and doesn’t work through walls, you must have a clear line to the dog. It charges with a USB cable included but no… Read more
