Canon i550

What a great printer it was – I know it's discontinued, but I just wanted to thank Canon for making such a great & reliable product. I've had mine for 12 years now and its still working perfectly and its never had a problem, Thankyou !

Good quality low cost printer Canon i550 – I have had my canon i550 n ow for about 3 years.  In that time it has done a considerable amoount of black and white as well as colour printing including photographs and it has performed very well.  It is equipped with 4 ink tanks which means that when one colour runs you only have to replace that tank and not all of them as is the case with many bubble jet printers.  This makes it a quite economical prospect for home use but especially for office use or for specialised colour printing.  Installation is simple - a drivers disc comes with the printer and it is Windows XP friendly.  It is very quiet with no undue noise emitting either from short or long prints runs.  It has been a reliable work horse for me and has produced some absolutely outstanding quality phot prints - as good as any professional job.  It does work hard so a good stable base for it to sit on is necessary.  One of the best low cost high quality printers I have experienced. I like the low maintenance, low cost replaceable ink system Sometimes it can be a bit slow on a large print job
