Pretty Good – I use several of these simultaneously to print large quantities. I love that it prints A3. I love that it prints borderless A4. I love that it handles glossy 300GSM cardstock. I love that it handles sticker paper and vellum without jams. (use the rear feeder) I had some trouble keeping all 3 of them connected via wifi. I then used USB cables… Read more

instead. Sometimes they would still disconnect / not recognise. I then upgraded my computer (more RAM and better CPU) and installed the proper canon software for adding printers, and added each printer with that. That has helped and the printers have not disconnected since then. I use a 4th Canon (different model) and all 4 Canons can print simultaneously with no issue. I had some issues with ink being printed on the corners of pages for a while. I did all the usual cleaning and maintenance but it did not help. I contacted Canon and they made me do some troubleshooting with them, but again the issue did not resolve. So they sent me a replacement. I love this printer a lot and recommend it frequently.

No Problems – I can’t understand the negative comments. I particularly like the document feeder. Easy Wifi connection- print remotely from IPad, Mac and Android. Other features work as effectively as my previous Canon printers Show details

Rubbish, Not it is not a A3 scanner – The product description could not be any more ambiguous. Here's a list of issues I've experienced out of the box: - WiFi photo printing does not work... a 4MB JPEG turns into a 275MB once in the print queue. The prints never end over WiFi and it just keeps trying to print it. It eventually runs out of ink or paper. What the hell is there no… Read more

integrity check to 1. send file over the printer and cache it. 2. Verify document integrity. 3. Print... Nope instead it'll just ruin your expensive glossy photo paper and ink. - In relation to the point before, you cannot network mount the SD card on that model to transfer the photo and print locally. - Manual is rubbish, you literally have to google your model to figure out what the printer password is... it's not even displayed from the printer display itself. - You can print A3 but cannot scan A3, what can of stupidity is that? Anyway, I returned that printer and I'm done with Canon products.

A few more cons, that printer does not accept USB Disk, but a SD Card instead... in 2022.

Very hard work to produce good quality printing – I cannot get it to connect to wifi; I have to reset every time to connect to my phone. As soon as I can afford a new printer, it's going on eBay to the first decent bid. Show details

Nothing but trouble, so am dumping it at Canon Service for them to dispose of – Good scanner with reliable document feeder Good quality print, BUT... Unreliable at holding wireless connectivity to PC. Unreliable at holding USB connectivity to PC. As a result of the above has had to be reinstalled so many times it is not funny. Now at one year and three days since purchased it keeps demanding Letter size paper when all of… Read more

the settings and tray registration are A4.

I used to be a Canon printer fan, and my MP600 was a faithful servant for 12 years until it wore out. Its replacement only lasted two years and suffered an irreparable component failure. Now with this one only lasting a year and being nothing but trouble, I am dumping it at Canon Service for them to dispose of.

Have just bought a Brother MFC-J4540DW to replace the Canon because my work office thrashes Brother printers and they just keep going. What a dream the Brother was to install!

Poor User Interface – I bought this printer to print A3 and also thicker paper such as cardstock. While it does both of those things, it is one of the fussiest printers I have used. It won’t find which tray to print from without manual intervention. The user interface is not at all intuitive to use. It goes through ink rapidly but even worse it tells me it is out of… Read more

ink on some cartridges when clearly it is not. I cannot work out how to scan to an SD card, this should be a standard operation but we cannot find how to do it. I am sorryI bought it.
