SLOWER THAN A SNAIL !!!! – I have had Canon printers for 20 years but this one is making me rethink my loyalty. SLOWER than a snail, takes for ever to print anything. I have written this review had a coffee and washed my dishes and the 1 page black and white doc has still not printed.. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SPEED when it come to printing..AVOID AT ALL COST. Its 2 stars as the its value for money but honestly not worth the hassle.

Purchased in at Officeworks for $179.

One of the worst printers Ive ever encountered – THis printer was a disaster from the moment I got it. The ADF has NEVER worked, I cant get more than 4 pages through feeding them manually one by one before it shuts down. Its flimsy, and constantly sends messages say the panel is closed an dit cant operate, even when it is not. OFFICEWORKS should be ashamed of themselves flogging terrible products like this. Its the secfond time recently I have been burned by them. Absolute waste of money and so much stress involved when I live in the country.. cant return the doo doo easily. The colour print is the worst I ever seen. Black is Okay but you need 2x replacement black inks. Stay Away!

Purchased in for $200.

TERRIBLE PRINTER DO NOT BUY IT – I have owned it for a month and have NEVER been able to print successfully via wifi. Even when I am right next to it, It drops out and has problems printing. It is unreliable and not worth your month. Go HP instead. I will now proceed to throw this printer on the concrete ground and go out to buy myself a HP

Purchased in for $299.

Canon Pixma TR7660A life expectancy is less than 2 months – I replaced the failed Epson XP-970 Printer (see my review there) with a brand new Canon Pixma TR7660A on 26 July 2023. This new printer lasted nearly two months because yesterday this new Canon Pixma TR7660A failed as well. It will now maybe print one page and then stay in the 'Printing' status forever - refusing to print another single page. So now I have two nearly brand new printers in the garbage bin. Bought the Brother MFC-J4440DW yesterday - will now see if Brother will perhaps last for more then 2 months - looking very good so far and still printing today. Do not buy any spare ink cartridges for the Canon Pixma TR7660A - this printer will not last long enough to use even half of the the included cartridges.
