I had the printer for 6 months. I probably print 10-20 pages per mth, mostly black and white. Seldom color, but the magenta and cyan is now finished. Every time I print, I can see the ink level decreasing even though I am printing grayscale. I suspect canon is preprogram the ink level to decrease even you don't use it. I don't even print photo since day one, yet the photo blue (PB) ink level gradually decrease each print.

Worked for 2 years & 3 months, just like the Pixma I had before it. I got extended warranty at officeworks this time for $30, so Im able to go instore & use the $219 as credit to buy a replacement. Best you can do in a world of inbuilt obselescence.... I had problems with wireless printing for no reason, I could never resolve it, so I had to connect it to computer via a cable. However Im able to airprint via my phone & Macbook. The one before developed problems with wireless printing after an update. At this point I dont fight it, accept my status as a victim of Corporatocracy

An excellent printer for a home business or for study-works every time – I have 2 printers, a Laser printer (which I am currently arguing with!) and my Canon, TS8360- I have had this Canon printer for about 4 years now. It gave me pause to reflect on what a great and inexpensive printer this Canon has been....works every time, ink is so easy to replace (compared to my previous printer, which I used to DREAD changing) -I love this printer! I used it a huge amount for my work- highly recommend it.

Purchased at Officeworks for $300.

Update, wrote the previous review nearly a year ago. Printer is still working beautifully - I did have a puzzling paper jam...which didn't take too long to work out (especially after I actually followed the directions given via the QR code ... Still love this printer and would buy another if needed.

Update - I can't believe I have had this printer for so long! No more paper jams either... not only that I get my ink from Inkstation which is also excellent. ( see my other review) - So happy with this printer, if it went down tomorrow, I would buy another one with out a second thought.

Load of plastic rubbish - but great for raising the blood pressure! – Have had this for a year - replaced a canon MX 726 which worked like a dream for years. The TS 8360 is on the other hand a constant nightmare! Canons not what is use to be and I will never be buying another canon! This is a load of plastic rubbish. It will print by WIFI then next time - which can be in 10 minutes refuse to, I have given up and plugged in the usb cable. So for something on my phone or my husbands computer I have to run down and log in to my computer - send what ever it is by email to my computer and then print. welcome to the modern world!

When printing one only has the option of using the back draw for paper not the paper cassette which is part of the machine- that works for scanning though. We have limited space so we only want to use the paper in the cassette not the draw at the back which sticks out adding another 20cm width to the machine. Easy one would think? If the back draw is closed surely it should automatically print from the cassette...? But no - around and around in circles trying to override this. Then giving in. Then the delightful machine scans the document - tick tock waiting....next it says paper not loaded. It is. take it out, put it in, do the hoky toky and you guessed it - paper not loaded. I would throw it out if I didn't have lots of ink bought for it - still might.

These problems aren't new - right there form the start when we purchased it.

2 weeks old and now unusable. A piece of garbage – This printer worked ok for the first 2 weeks. It took a lot of time to set it up and learn how to use it. It constantly turns itself off so you have to wait a few minutes every time you want to use it which didn't happen with my old hp. This is a very annoying feature especially if you are time poor. The connectivity from any device is extremely slow as you have to wait for the printer to attach to the wifi and turn on every single time. Unfortunately this afternoon I have had "Support code 1259" come up. I have spent hours trying to get it to work again. Followed the manual, looked up on YouTube and google but everything they suggest doesn't work. We just keep going in circle. This is chronically frustrating. I will be going back to the old cheap hp, at least they last two years and you don't waste half a day trying to get them to work. THIS PRINTER IS A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME....STICK TO THE CHEAP HP!!!!!
