Worked well for around 7 years, good for this era of inbuilt obsolescence – It worked well for 6-7 years, I didnt have any problems with it. It always accepted my non-canon ink, unlike my Brother printer which would pretend to then reject it the week after & force me to buy their $$$ cartridges. I had the copper colour one, pretty cool. I rarely used it to print photos, probably because I rarely had Canon ink around; it was easier to do it at Officeworks. Show details

too slow – the only reason i purchased this printer is i needed a printer that can print disc labels (which are hard to find these days) other than that, its useless: 1. slow 2. doesnt grab the disc properly sometimes, causing an error 3. sometimes it takes 5 minutes just for the printer to warm up Show details

This is a piece of junk, noisy, slow, runs out of ink. Stay away from it – This printer from the start is painful. It is very noise and also runs through whatever it does in it's own life. You hit print and think the printer will do just that, but wrong! It will make a lot of noise, then stops, then starts again and might eventually print. But only if you use original cartridges … and a set is $100. If one cartridge is… Read more

empty, the error messages will come. And somehow it seems the ink vaporises. I had no colour print but the cartridges run out. I don't think you could, for example, only print with the XL black cartridge.

The scanner works fine though and I could print from my phone and laptop. So that's all good, but the problem is, that if you want to quickly print, it takes forever to start, only original cartridges and they seem to run out all the time.

Hated it from the first day basically. My HP was 100 times better.

Good prints but printer is garbage – Easy to setup and print quality is very good. That is where it ends. Runs through long cleaning cycles on startup burning through all of your ink. Half of your ink goes to waste. Ran ok for a bit over a year until i got the dreaded incorrect print head error 403. Only ever used Canon cartridges too. Stay away from Pixma they are junk.  Show details

Unable to install via wi-fi – I have been trying for two weeks to install this printer. I will never buy Canon again. I can not answer about print quality as I can not connect to it, therefore the cost of ink is not an issue and I can not state to it's reliability. I have installed numerous printers over the last 20 years and this is the worst. I will put it back in the box and take it to be recycled  Show details

Good but useless – I love the orange colour version of this printer, however, this printer can be infuriating. Every time you add paper or fiddle with cartridges, it spends an eternity doing something asides from printing out what I need. It sounds like there's a woodpecker in there for goodness sake. Also, when it's been a little while, don't expect to jump on… Read more

your computer and print. No, no, no, if you've got a plane to catch or an assignment to hand in, you better allot some time in advance. There is no last-minute printing with this delicate and temperamental flower.

Essentially, this is a garbage printer designed to make you spend the bigg $$$ on feeding it ink. Well, I buy generic off ebay, which makes this garbage printer quite useful and good at what is does, which takes it from 1 star to 3.

LEMON do not buy!!! – This printer prints OK IF (!) you can get it to print, uneconomical with ink numerous connectivity issues despite direct USB connection, scanner falls out of connectivity all the time., Stutters and gets stuck on many commands, (i.e. print (duh) goes thru lengthy process for simple prints (sounds like its head cleaning 3 times over before… Read more

printing) then can't find paper in tray, have to turn of and back on to stop it going over and over despite reloading paper. So issues with sensing paper loaded or not.

This is THE most useless frustrating time wasting unreliable printer I have ever used by far, have had it for 6 months am replacing it now, this is the first Canon printer I have bought, will not EVER buy Canon again

I am pretty easy to please, this is the only time I have reviewed anything but this is so bad I had to review -- buyer beware!!!

Very Slow – Must be something wrong with this printer, printing a single page over wifi takes 2-3 mins to start printing, and the noise it makes is like a head cleaning every time it prints each job, this printer is a dud, suggest avoid. earch the web for mg7560 "very slow" and you will see lots of other forums stating the same as me here, they should do a recall on this.

Just over a teaspoon of ink in the cartridges – The printer prints fine, not astounding, my HP does just as good a job, I thought this printer would be cheaper to run because a cartridge for the HP was costing $76, and the whole cartridge had to be replaced if one colour ran out, but it lasted. However, the Canon (unless I print always on draft) uses so much ink and each cartridge only holds… Read more

7.5Ml, that's 1.5 teaspoons of ink! and each cartridge, although colours are separate, cost me around $26.00. I replaced all the colour cartridges one month ago, and have hardly printed anything in colour and already I have to replace them all again. Also the software image garden drives me nuts taking so long to open and then if I scan I can't easily save directly into my desired drive and in addition, the software totally owns the scanner so that the scanner will not register with Windows Fax and scan, which is quick and easy by comparison. Nope, I'm going to use my HP, it's cheaper to run and doesn't invade my computer.
