Good functionality, but lacks reliability – I had this printer for a few years and it worked well. But now it has just given me an error message saying the print head or ink system has failed, and nothing I can do will fix it. While this would not normally be a problem, as its a few years old, what upsets me is that while the print head or ink system may have failed, the device will no longer even scan, which clearly does not need the print head or ink system. This is just bad design, and doubtless it applies to many other Canon printer types. As scanning is what I mostly do with this device, this is particularly frustrating.

Good – I have had this printer for a while now and reasonably happy with the overall performance. Print quality is good enough for me and that includes photos It uses a lot of ink which seem to always be running out at the same time. to replace a set of inks is around $100.00 The scanner does a good job too I bought this All in one because of the Canon name but rate it no better of worse then any other printer on the market

Its an OK printer I like how the software works

Relatively easy to set up

prints well

I like the card reader Flimsy plastic paper tray

Small ink cotainers

Have recently set up the wireless on the printer and it seems to take forever to send information to print. Always takes a couple of goes too. This part I am not happy with
