the printer. 2) The printer regularly throws error messages saying that ink is not valid, and that the cartridge needs to be changed. This is probably because I purchased some third-party ink from the supplier of the printer. The ink prints well enough but Canon obviously does not like users buying cheaper ink. 3) The third problem is a lack of enough physical space for a man with large hands to be able to remove and replace the cartridges. (Luckily, my wife has petite hands !)
Now, after five weeks, the printer will not recognise new replacement cartridges - either new third-party cartridges or new Canon cartridges, and I will be sending it back to the supplier tomorrow
I recommend that you do not buy this model from Canon, and you think twice about buying any make of printer from them.
Brought this printer from BigW 3 months ago . lt is hard to install plus we,ve had so much trouble with it. lt has refused to print at all now after having printed minimal amounts off the computer. Forever losing connection (yet supposedly direct wifi is it's great strength) re print from laptop, S22 & S10e phones ..have the past 6 months or so since purchase, had it attended to several times with Cannon Phone Support they require a diagnosis print out each time (used most of my black ink) & only ever stays connectable for very short… Read more

In-fact for the past 3+ months I've not bothered with Support, it just sits & I get a mate to print the odd page on his printer when needed ..but today had to do urgent PDF print, no go wifi direct from laptop & nothing from my 2 phones ?
In frustration, removed printer as default from all devices to refit ..the past 6 hours across all 3 devices just auto searches (wifi strength @ +75% for devices & printer) ..but they can't find anything of this Cannon TS3600 printer ?
Have to say for a basic printer, exceptionally awkward & time consuming to use (downtime ridiculous), the worst I've ever owned/used ! ..certainly I can NOT recommend this printer, I'd strongly suggest you consider another brand/model, and I'm going to seek a refund from Cannon.
