Capital Pathology

Incompetency at best – This collection centre has a high turnover of staff. The manager has to be replaced. Equipment not ready to be used. Supplies locked up so if a staff member is late with the keys too bad, come back later. This is a MEDICAL facility, plumbing shops are run better.
Company on Kodak Trajectory – Capital Pathology collecting centre in Goulburn NSW has become a place with high turnover, inexperienced and insufficiently competent staff. Numerous times in life I have had the experience of blood being collected, but yesterday was my first time learning the sound of blood squirting out the vein, leaving blood on clothes, chair and floor. This poor millennial is not the one to be blamed. She needs some extra hours of supervised work and she’ll be great. The company’s culture is the problem, as they are obviously incapable of retaining competent and experienced staff, which they did have at some point.
It appears that this is a common theme in this industry, and previous employees are sharing their work experience online. https://au.indeed.com/cmp/Capital-Pathology/reviews
There is obviously no understanding that these days there is 0 loyalty to brands, but 100% client loyalty to knowledgeable and caring health workers. Maximising profits at the expense of creating decent and safe work environment for employees and compromising patient safety is absolutely appalling and out-right dangerous!
For companies with smart CEOs and HRs in this industry, there is plenty of money to be made by taking clients from companies on Kodak trajectories like the above-mentioned.
