Caremax tens machine – Complicated with inadequate manual and poor quality pads. Designed to last only 10 uses but even this seems optimistic. I emailed about buying better quality pads that would last longer and was told they are good quality and was fobbed off

Purchased in for $54.

No follow up from Caremax – Caremax website leads the reader to believe it is a family owned Australian company who care about people suffering pain. It maybe an Australian company that imports the Combo Electrotherapy Device R-C4A but the device comes with a very inadequate manual. I contacted Caremax by email to ask whether any Youtube video or other means I can access will provide me with further information to allow me to properly use the machine. I have not so much as received the courtesy of a reply. So much for caring.

Purchased in for $70.

This is a great wireless tens machine - let down by a poor remote control – I bought this tens machine because it had all the features I wanted. The box arrived unsealed but the product looked new inside. These Wireless Tens Machines come from China and I pressume they need an Australian charger plug - hence the open box but I think they forgot to put one in mine. Caremax quickly rectified this when I informed them it was missing. The tens machine itself is a great product but I found the remote control was a let down. Very hit and miss as to whether or not it worked, coupled with the fact that I have changed the remote battery 3 times in a month (cost of $14aud for a pack of 4). The remote feels cheap and the battery cover fiddly. When I got the product to work it worked well with 6 different settings. I would not recommend this product and would spend a little for to find a more reliable one. Also replacing the silicone gel pads can only be done through caremax at a cost 0f $25 aud for 5 but they do last a fair while.
