Cateye Volt800

Cateye Volt800 bicycle light – Brought this light for my bike a few years ago now but it still is the current model they sell The build quality is really good and has stood up to a lot of use over the past few years. Even getting dropped onto hard concrete sees nothing more than minor paint clips to the unit so its well made. The light output is really good with its claimed 800 lumens living up to the manufacturer claims.

The rechargeable battery is easy to charge and lasts a decent amount of time depending on light settings. Even after a few years use it still charges and lasts as long as it did when new so its a good sign of quality.

Easy to mount onto most bikes and easy to remove for charging.

At full power its more than enough light to safely ride at night.
